Hadith 390
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ جَمِيلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ ، عَنْ الرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتِ مُعَوِّذٍ ، قَالَتْ : " أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِيضَأَةٍ ، فَقَالَ : " اسْكُبِي ، فَسَكَبْتُ فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ، وَذِرَاعَيْهِ ، وَأَخَذَ مَاءً جَدِيدًا فَمَسَحَ بِهِ رَأْسَهُ مُقَدَّمَهُ ، وَمُؤَخَّرَهُ ، وَغَسَلَ قَدَمَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا " .
´It was narrated that Rubai' bint Mu'awwidh said:` "I brought a basin of water to the Prophet and he said: 'Pour it,' so I poured it and he washed his face and forearms, then he took fresh water and wiped his head, front and back, and then he washed his feet. He washed each part three times."
Hadith 418
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ ، عَنِ الرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتِ مُعَوِّذِ ابْنِ عَفْرَاءَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " تَوَضَّأَ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا " .
´It was narrated from Rabi' bint Mu'awwidh bin 'Afra' that:` The Messenger of Allah performed ablution washing each part three times.
Hadith 438
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ ، عَنِ الرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتِ مُعَوِّذِ ابْنِ عَفْرَاءَ ، قَالَتْ : " تَوَضَّأَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَمَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ مَرَّتَيْنِ " .
´It was narrated that Ar-Rubai' bint Mu'awwidh bin 'Afra' said:` "The Messenger of Allah performed ablution and wiped his head twice."
Hadith 440
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ ، عَنِ الرُّبَيِّعِ " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " تَوَضَّأَ فَمَسَحَ ظَاهِرَ أُذُنَيْهِ ، وَبَاطِنَهُمَا " .
´It was narrated from Rubai' that:` The prophet performed ablution and wiped his ears inside and out.
Hadith 441
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ ، عَنِ الرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتِ مُعَوِّذِ ابْن عَفْرَاءَ ، قَالَتْ : " تَوَضَّأَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَدْخَلَ إِصْبَعَيْهِ فِي جُحْرَيْ أُذُنَيْهِ " .
´It was narrated that Rubai' bint Mu'awwidh bin 'Afra' said:` "The Prophet performed ablution, and he put his fingers in the (holes) inside of his ears."
Hadith 458
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ ، عَنْ رَوْحِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ ، عَنْ الرُّبَيِّعِ ، قَالَتْ : أَتَانِي ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فَسَأَلَنِي عَنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ ؟ تَعْنِي حَدِيثَهَا الَّذِي ذَكَرَتْ : أَنَّ ّرَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " تَوَضَّأَ وَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ " ، فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ : إِنَّ النَّاسَ أَبَوْا إِلَّا الْغَسْلَ ، وَلَا أَجِدُ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا الْمَسْحَ .
´It was narrated that Rubai' said:` "Ibn 'Abbas came to me and asked me about this Hadith" meaning the Hadith, that she had narrated, saying that the Messenger of Allah performed ablution and washed his feet. "Ibn 'Abbas said: 'The people are insisting on washing their feet, but I do not find anything in the Qur'an except (the injunction to) wipe them.'"
Hadith 1897
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْحُسَيْنِ اسْمُهُ خَالِدٌ الْمَدَنِيُّ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا بِالْمَدِينَةِ يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ ، وَالْجَوَارِي يَضْرِبْنَ بِالدُّفِّ ، وَيَتَغَنَّيْنَ فَدَخَلْنَا عَلَى الرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتِ مُعَوِّذٍ ، فَذَكَرْنَا ذَلِكَ لَهَا ، فَقَالَتْ : دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَبِيحَةَ عُرْسِي ، وَعِنْدِي جَارِيَتَانِ تَتَغَنَّيَانِ ، وَتَنْدُبَانِ آبَائِي الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ ، وَتَقُولَانِ فِيمَا تَقُولَانِ : وَفِينَا نَبِيٌّ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي غَدٍ ، فَقَالَ : " أَمَّا هَذَا فَلَا تَقُولُوهُ مَا يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي غَدٍ إِلَّا اللَّهُ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Husain, whose name was Khalid Al-Madani, said:` “We were in Al-Madinah on the Say of 'Ashura and the girls were beating the Daff and singing. We entered upon Rubai' bint Mu'awwidh and mentioned that to her. She said: 'The Messenger of Allah entered upon me on the morning of my wedding, and there were two girls with me who were singing and mentioning the qualities of my forefathers who were killed on the Day of Badr. One of the things they were saying was: “Among us there is a Prophet who knows what will happen tomorrow.” He said: “Do not say this, for no one knows what will happen tomorrow except Allah.”
Hadith 2058
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنْ ابْنِ إِسْحَاق ، أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَادَةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ ، عَنْ الرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتِ مُعَوِّذِ ابْنِ عَفْرَاءَ ، قَالَ : " قُلْتُ لَهَا : حَدِّثِينِي حَدِيثَكِ ، قَالَتْ : اخْتَلَعْتُ مِنْ زَوْجِي ، ثُمَّ جِئْتُ عُثْمَانَ ، فَسَأَلْتُ مَاذَا عَلَيَّ مِنَ الْعِدَّةِ ؟ ، فَقَالَ : لَا عِدَّةَ عَلَيْكِ ، إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ حَدِيثَ عَهْدٍ بِكِ ، فَتَمْكُثِينَ عِنْدَهُ حَتَّى تَحِيضِينَ حَيْضَةً ، قَالَتْ : وَإِنَّمَا تَبِعَ فِي ذَلِكَ قَضَاءَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي مَرْيَمَ الْمَغَالِيَّةِ ، وَكَانَتْ تَحْتَ ثَابِتِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، فَاخْتَلَعَتْ مِنْهُ " .
´It was narrated from 'Ubadah bin Samit from Rubai' bint Mu'awwidh bin 'Afra'.:` He said: "I said to her: 'Tell me your Hadith.' She said: 'I got Khul' from my husband, then I came to 'Uthman and asked him: "What waiting period do I have to observe?" He said: "You do not have to observe any waiting period, unless you had intercourse with him recently, in which case you should stay with him until you have menstruated." In that he was following the ruling of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) concerning Maryam Maghaliyyah, who was married to Thabit bin Qais and she got Khul' from him.' "
