Hadith 1625
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجُعْفِيُّ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ الرُّكَيْنِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ يُسَيْرِ بْنِ عَمِيلَةَ، عَنْ خُرَيْمِ بْنِ فَاتِكٍ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ أَنْفَقَ نَفَقَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ، كُتِبَتْ لَهُ بِسَبْعِ مِائَةِ ضِعْفٍ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : وَفِي الْبَاب ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ ، إِنَّمَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الرُّكَيْنِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ .
Narrated from Khuraim bin Fatik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever spends anything in the way of Allah (jihad), seven hundred times (reward) is written for him." © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan. We know this hadith only from the narration of Rakeen bin Rabee'.

Hadith 2836
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ، عَنْ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ عُمَيْلَةَ الْفَزَارِيِّ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدَبٍ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَا تُسَمِّ غُلَامَكَ رَبَاحٌ وَلَا أَفْلَحُ وَلَا يَسَارٌ وَلَا نَجِيحٌ " ، يُقَالُ : أَثَمَّ هُوَ ؟ فَيُقَالُ : " لَا " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
´Narrated Samurah bin Jundab:` that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Do not name your boy Rabah, nor Aflah, nor Yasar, nor Najih, so that it may be said: 'Is he there?' and it may be said: 'No.'"
