Hadith 188
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ يَحْيَى بْنُ خَلَفٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ حَنَشٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ مِنْ غَيْرِ عُذْرٍ فَقَدْ أَتَى بَابًا مِنْ أَبْوَابِ الْكَبَائِرِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى , وَحَنَشٌ هَذَا هُوَ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرَّحَبِيُّ , وَهُوَ حُسَيْنُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْحَدِيثِ ، ضَعَّفَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ أَنْ لَا يَجْمَعَ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ إِلَّا فِي السَّفَرِ أَوْ بِعَرَفَةَ ، وَرَخَّصَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنَ التَّابِعِينَ فِي الْجَمْعِ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ لِلْمَرِيضِ ، وَبِهِ يَقُولُ أَحْمَدُ , وَإِسْحَاق ، وقَالَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ : يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ فِي الْمَطَرِ ، وَبِهِ يَقُولُ الشَّافِعِيُّ , وَأَحْمَدُ , وَإِسْحَاق ، وَلَمْ يَرَ الشَّافِعِيُّ لِلْمَرِيضِ أَنْ يَجْمَعَ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ .
´Ibn Abbas narrated that :` the Prophet said: "Whoever combines two prayers without any excuse then he has committed something from the major sins."
Hadith 1217
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الطَّالَقَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، عَنْ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَصْحَابِ الْمِكْيَالِ وَالْمِيزَانِ : " إِنَّكُمْ قَدْ وُلِّيتُمْ أَمْرَيْنِ هَلَكَتْ فِيهِ الْأُمَمُ السَّالِفَةُ قَبْلَكُمْ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ مَرْفُوعًا إِلَّا ، مِنْ حَدِيثِ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، وَحُسَيْنُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ يُضَعَّفُ فِي الْحَدِيثِ ، وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا بِإِسْنَادٍ صَحِيحٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ مَوْقُوفًا .
'Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to those who measure and weigh: "Two such deeds have been committed by you, because of which the previous nations were destroyed before you." © Imam Tirmidhi says:
We know this hadith only as a marfu' narration through Husain bin Qais, and Husain bin Qais is considered weak in hadith. Also, it is narrated with a sahih chain from Ibn Abbas as a mawquf narration.

Hadith 1917
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الطَّالَقَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَال : سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ حَنَشٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ قَبَضَ يَتِيمًا بَيْنِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ إِلَى طَعَامِهِ وَشَرَابِهِ أَدْخَلَهُ اللَّهُ الْجَنَّةَ الْبَتَّةَ إِلَّا أَنْ يَعْمَلَ ذَنْبًا لَا يُغْفَرُ لَهُ " ، قَالَ : وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ مُرَّةَ الْفِهْرِيِّ ، وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، وَأَبِي أُمَامَةَ ، وَسَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : وَحَنَشٌ هُوَ حُسَيْنُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ وَهُوَ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرَّحَبِيُّ ، وَسُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ ، يَقُولُ : حَنَشٌ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْحَدِيثِ .
´Ibn 'Abbas narrated that:` the Prophet said: Whoever takes in an orphan among the Muslims to raise, to feed him and give him drink, Allah admits him into Paradise without a doubt, unless he has done a sin for which he is not forgiven."
Hadith 2416
حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا حُصَيْنُ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ أَبُو مِحْصَنٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ الرَّحَبِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَا تَزُولُ قَدَمَا ابْنِ آدَمَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنْ عِنْدِ رَبِّهِ حَتَّى يُسْأَلَ عَنْ خَمْسٍ : عَنْ عُمُرِهِ فِيمَ أَفْنَاهُ ، وَعَنْ شَبَابِهِ فِيمَ أَبْلَاهُ ، وَمَالِهِ مِنْ أَيْنَ اكْتَسَبَهُ ، وَفِيمَ أَنْفَقَهُ ، وَمَاذَا عَمِلَ فِيمَا عَلِمَ " , قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، وَحُسَيْنُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ يُضَعَّفُ فِي الْحَدِيثِ مِنْ قِبَلِ حِفْظِهِ ، وفي الباب عن أَبِي بَرْزَةَ , وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ .
´Ibn Mas'ud narrated that the Messenger of Allah SAW said:` "The feet of the son of Adam shall not move from before his Lord on the Day of Judgement, until he is asked about five things: About his life and what he did with it, about his youth and what he wore it out in, about his wealth and how he earned it, and spent it upon, and what he did with what he knew." (Da'if) [Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Gharib, we do not know of it as a narration of Ibn Mas'üd from the Prophet except through the narration of Husain bin Qais. Husain [bin Qais] was graded weak in Hadith [due to his memory]. There are narrations on this topic from Abu Barzah and Abu Sa'eed.
