Hadith 52
أَخْبَرَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قال : سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْمَاءِ وَمَا يَنُوبُهُ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ وَالسِّبَاعِ ، فَقَالَ : " إِذَا كَانَ الْمَاءُ قُلَّتَيْنِ لَمْ يَحْمِلِ الْخَبَثَ " .
´It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Abdullah bin 'Umar that his father said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was asked about water and how some animals and carnivorous beasts might drink from it. He said: 'If the water is more than two Qullahs, it will not carry filth.'"[1] [1]It comes with some explanation in Sunan At Timidhi 'Abdah (one of the narrators) said: "Muhammad bin Ishaq said: 'A Qullah refers to Jirar (These are two nouns describing large casks that are used to hold water), and a Qullah is the thing that drinking water is held in."' At-Tirmidhi said: "This is the saying of Ash Shafa'i, Ahmad and Ishaq. They say that when the water is two Qullahs then nothing makes it impure, as long as it does not change its smell, and its taste. And they say, it is approximately fifty Qirbahs (waterskins)."
Hadith 100
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ جُعَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قال : أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أَبِي ذُنَابٍ ، قال : أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ سَالِمٌ سَبَلَانُ ، قال : وَكَانَتْ عَائِشَةُ تَسْتَعْجِبُ بِأَمَانَتِهِ وَتَسْتَأْجِرُهُ ، فَأَرَتْنِي كَيْفَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَوَضَّأُ " فَتَمَضْمَضَتْ وَاسْتَنْثَرَتْ ثَلَاثًا ، وَغَسَلَتْ وَجْهَهَا ثَلَاثًا ، ثُمَّ غَسَلَتْ يَدَهَا الْيُمْنَى ثَلَاثًا وَالْيُسْرَى ثَلَاثًا ، وَوَضَعَتْ يَدَهَا فِي مُقَدَّمِ رَأْسِهَا ثُمَّ مَسَحَتْ رَأْسَهَا مَسْحَةً وَاحِدَةً إِلَى مُؤَخِّرِهِ ، ثُمَّ أَمَرَّتْ يَديْهَا بِأُذُنَيْهَا ، ثُمَّ مَرَّتْ عَلَى الْخَدَّيْنِ " . قَالَ سَالِمٌ : كُنْتُ آتِيهَا مُكَاتَبًا مَا تَخْتَفِي مِنِّي فَتَجْلِسُ بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ وَتَتَحَدَّثُ مَعِي حَتَّى جِئْتُهَا ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ ، فَقُلْتُ : ادْعِي لِي بِالْبَرَكَةِ يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ، قَالَتْ : وَمَا ذَاكَ ؟ قُلْتُ : أَعْتَقَنِي اللَّهُ ، قَالَتْ : بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ ، وَأَرْخَتِ الْحِجَابَ دُونِي فَلَمْ أَرَهَا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ .
´Abu 'Abdullah Salim Sabalan said:` "'Aishah liked my honesty and hired me, and she showed me how the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to perform Wudu'. She rinsed her mouth, sniffed water into her nose and blew it out three times, and washed her face three times. Then she washed her right hand three times and her left hand three times. Then she put her hand on the front of her head and wiped her head once, front to back. Then she rubbed her ears with her hands, then she passed her hands over her cheeks." Salim said: "I came to her as a slave with a contract of manumission, and she did not hide herself from me. She would sit before me and talk to me, until I came to her one day and said: 'Pray for blessing for me, O Mother of Believers.' She said: 'Why is that?' I said: 'Allah has set me free.' She said: 'May Allah bless you.' Then she lowered the Hijab before me, and I never saw her again after that day."
Hadith 263
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا أَرَادَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَعُودَ تَوَضَّأَ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Sa'eed that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` "When any one of you a wants to return (to have intercourse again), let him perform Wudu'."
Hadith 329
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قال : سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْمَاءِ وَمَا يَنُوبُهُ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ وَالسِّبَاعِ ، فَقَالَ : " إِذَا كَانَ الْمَاءُ قُلَّتَيْنِ ، لَمْ يَحْمِلِ الْخَبَثَ " .
´It was narrated from 'Ubaidullah bin 'Abdullah bin 'Umar that his father said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was asked about water and how some animals and carnivorous beasts might drink from it. He said: 'If the water is more than two Qullahs, it will not become filthy.'"
Hadith 464
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قال : أَنْبَأَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قال : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ الْعَهْدَ الَّذِي بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَهُمُ الصَّلَاةُ ، فَمَنْ تَرَكَهَا فَقَدْ كَفَرَ " .
´It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Buraidah that his father said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'The covenant that stands between us and them is the Salah; whoever abandons it, he has committed disbelief.'"
Hadith 503
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قال : أَنْبَأَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قال : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام جَاءَكُمْ يُعَلِّمُكُمْ دِينَكُمْ ، فَصَلَّى الصُّبْحَ حِينَ طَلَعَ الْفَجْرُ وَصَلَّى الظُّهْرَ حِينَ زَاغَتِ الشَّمْسُ ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى الْعَصْرَ حِينَ رَأَى الظِّلَّ مِثْلَهُ ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ حِينَ غَرَبَتِ الشَّمْسُ وَحَلَّ فِطْرُ الصَّائِمِ ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ حِينَ ذَهَبَ شَفَقُ اللَّيْلِ ، ثُمَّ جَاءَهُ الْغَدَ فَصَلَّى بِهِ الصُّبْحَ حِينَ أَسْفَرَ قَلِيلًا ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى بِهِ الظُّهْرَ حِينَ كَانَ الظِّلُّ مِثْلَهُ ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى الْعَصْرَ حِينَ كَانَ الظِّلُّ مِثْلَيْهِ ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ بِوَقْتٍ وَاحِدٍ حِينَ غَرَبَتِ الشَّمْسُ وَحَلَّ فِطْرُ الصَّائِمِ ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ حِينَ ذَهَبَ سَاعَةٌ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : الصَّلَاةُ مَا بَيْنَ صَلَاتِكَ أَمْسِ وَصَلَاتِكَ الْيَوْمَ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: This is 'Jibril, peace be upon you, he came to teach you your religion. He prayed Subh when the dawn appeared, and he prayed Zuhr when the sun had (passed its zenith), and he prayed 'Asr when he saw that the shadow of a thing was equal to its height, then he prayed Maghrib when the sub had set and it is permissible for the fasting person to eat. Then he prayed 'Isha' when the twilight had disappeared. Then he came to him the following day and prayed Subh when it had got a little lighter, then he prayed Zuhr when the shadow of a thing was equal to its height, then he prayed 'Asr when the shadow of a thing was equal to twice its height, then he prayed Maghrib at the same time as before, then he prayed 'Isha' when a short period of the night had passed. Then he said: 'The prayer is between the times when you prayed yesterday and the times when you prayed today.'"
Hadith 610
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَرْمَلَةَ ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، وَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرْدَفَهُ مِنْ عَرَفَةَ ، فَلَمَّا أَتَى الشِّعْبَ نَزَلَ فَبَالَ وَلَمْ يَقُلْ أَهْرَاقَ الْمَاءَ ، قَالَ : فَصَبَبْتُ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ إِدَاوَةٍ ، فَتَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءًا خَفِيفًا ، فَقُلْتُ لَهُ : الصَّلَاةَ ، فَقَالَ : الصَّلَاةُ أَمَامَكَ " فَلَمَّا أَتَى الْمُزْدَلِفَةَ صَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ ، ثُمَّ نَزَعُوا رِحَالَهُمْ ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ " .
´It was narrated from Usamah bin Zaid, whom the Prophet (ﷺ) had seated behind him on his camel on the way from 'Arafah, that when he reached the mountain pass, he dismounted and urinated - and he did not say that he passed water. He (Usamah) said:` "I poured water for him from a small vessel and he performed a light Wudu'. I said to him: 'The prayer.' He said: 'The prayer is still ahead of you.' When he came to Al-Muzdalifah he prayed Maghrib, then they untied the saddles of their mounts and then he prayed 'Isha'."
Hadith 688
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قال : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ ، فَلَا تَقُومُوا حَتَّى تَرَوْنِي خَرَجْتُ " .
´It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Abi Qatadah that his father said:` "The Messenger of Allah (S.A.W) said: 'When the Iqamah for prayer is said, do not stand up until you see that I have come out.'"
Hadith 915
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ قال : حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ قال : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِي التَّوْرَاةِ وَلَا فِي الْإِنْجِيلِ مِثْلَ أُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ وَهِيَ السَّبْعُ الْمَثَانِي وَهِيَ مَقْسُومَةٌ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ عَبْدِي وَلِعَبْدِي مَا سَأَلَ " .
´It was narrated that Ubayy bin Ka'b said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, did not reveal in the Tawrah or the Injil anything like Umm Al-Quran (Al-Fatihah), which is the seven oft-recited, and (Allah said) it is divided between Myself and My slave will have what he asked for.'"
Hadith 1140
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَمَّارٍ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قال : أَنْبَأَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، قال : حَدَّثَنِي الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ الْمُعَيْطِيُّ ، قال : حَدَّثَنِي مَعْدَانُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ الْيَعْمُرِيُّ ، قال : لَقِيتُ ثَوْبَانَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقُلْتُ : دُلَّنِي عَلَى عَمَلٍ يَنْفَعُنِي أَوْ يُدْخِلُنِي الْجَنَّةَ فَسَكَتَ عَنِّي مَلِيًّا ثُمَّ الْتَفَتَ إِلَيَّ فَقَالَ : عَلَيْكَ بِالسُّجُودِ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَسْجُدُ لِلَّهِ سَجْدَةً إِلَّا رَفَعَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بِهَا دَرَجَةً وَحَطَّ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطِيئَةً " قَالَ مَعْدَانُ : ثُمَّ لَقِيتُ أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَمَّا سَأَلْتُ عَنْهُ ثَوْبَانَ فَقَالَ لِي : عَلَيْكَ بِالسُّجُودِ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَسْجُدُ لِلَّهِ سَجْدَةً إِلَّا رَفَعَهُ اللَّهُ بِهَا دَرَجَةً وَحَطَّ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطِيئَةً " .
´Ma'dan bin Talha Al-Ya'muri said:` "I met Thawban, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said: "Tell me of an action that will benefit me or gain me admittance to Paradise.' He remained silent for a while, then he turned to me and said: 'You should prostrate, because I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: "There is no one who prostrated once to Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, except that Allah will raise him one degree in status thereby, and erase one sin thereby." Ma'dan said: "Then I met Abu Ad-Darda' and asked him the same question I had asked Thawban." He said to me: "You should prostrate, for I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: "There is no one who prostrates once to Allah (SWT), but Allah (SWT) will raise him one degree thereby and erase one sin thereby."
Hadith 1192
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ , وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ , وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَلَا يَمْسَحِ الْحَصَى , فَإِنَّ الرَّحْمَةَ تُوَاجِهُهُ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Dharr said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'When any one of you stands in prayer, let him not smooth the pebbles, for he is facing Mercy.'"
Hadith 1202
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَمَّارٍ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ ، عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَلْتَفِتُ فِي صَلَاتِهِ يَمِينًا وَشِمَالًا وَلَا يَلْوِي عُنُقَهُ خَلْفَ ظَهْرِهِ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to turn to his right and left when praying, but he did not twist his neck to look behind him."
Hadith 1222
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا نُسَلِّمُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَيَرُدُّ عَلَيْنَا السَّلَامَ , حَتَّى قَدِمْنَا مِنْ أَرْضِ الْحَبَشَةِ فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَلَمْ يَرُدَّ عَلَيَّ , فَأَخَذَنِي مَا قَرُبَ وَمَا بَعُدَ فَجَلَسْتُ حَتَّى إِذَا قَضَى الصَّلَاةَ , قَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُحْدِثُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ مَا يَشَاءُ , وَإِنَّهُ قَدْ أَحْدَثَ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ أَنْ لَا يُتَكَلَّمَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn Mas'ud said:` "We used to greet the Prophet (ﷺ) with salam and he would return our salam, until we came back from the land of Ethiopia. I greeted him with salam and he did not return my greeting,a nd I started to wonder why. So I sat down; and when he finished praying, he said: 'Allah (SWT) decrees what He wills, and He has decreed what we should not speak during the prayer.'"
Hadith 1825
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو . ح وأَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَكْثِرُوا ذِكْرَ هَاذِمِ اللَّذَّاتِ " , قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ : مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَالِدُ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` "The Messenger of Allah said: 'Remember often the destroyer of pleasures."' (Hasan) Abu 'Abdur-Rahaman (An-Nasai) said: Muhammad bin Ibrahim (one of the narrators) is the father of Abu Bakr Ibn Abi Shaibah.
Hadith 2022
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، قال : سَمِعْتُ جَابِرًا ، يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ بِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أُبَيٍّ فَأَخْرَجَهُ مِنْ قَبْرِهِ ، فَوَضَعَ رَأْسَهُ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ فَتَفَلَ فِيهِ مِنْ رِيقِهِ وَأَلْبَسَهُ قَمِيصَهُ " قَالَ جَابِرٌ : " وَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ " وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ .
´Jabir said:` "The Prophet commanded that 'Abdullah bin Ubayy by brought out of his grave, then he placed his head on his knees and blew on him and put his shirt on him." "And he prayed for him. And Allah knows best."
Hadith 2530
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَأْمُرُنَا بِالصَّدَقَةِ ، فَمَا يَجِدُ أَحَدُنَا شَيْئًا يَتَصَدَّقُ بِهِ حَتَّى يَنْطَلِقَ إِلَى السُّوقِ ، فَيَحْمِلَ عَلَى ظَهْرِهِ فَيَجِيءَ بِالْمُدِّ ، فَيُعْطِيَهُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنِّي لَأَعْرِفُ الْيَوْمَ رَجُلًا لَهُ مِائَةُ أَلْفٍ ، مَا كَانَ لَهُ يَوْمَئِذٍ دِرْهَمٌ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Mas'ud said:` "The Messenger of Allah used to tell us to give in charity, and one of us could not find anything to give until he went to the market place and hired himself out to carry loads for people. Then he would bring a Mudd and give it to the Messenger of Allah. I know a man who has a hundred thousand now, but on that day he had (only) one Dirham."
Hadith 2594
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَا تُلْحِفُوا فِي الْمَسْأَلَةِ ، وَلَا يَسْأَلْنِي أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ شَيْئًا ، وَأَنَا لَهُ كَارِهٌ ، فَيُبَارَكَ لَهُ فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتُهُ " .
´It was narrated from Mu'awiyah that the Messenger of Allah said:` "Do not be demanding when asking. If one of you asks me for anything and I give it reluctantly, there will be no blessing in it."
Hadith 2628
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَمَّارٍ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْفُضَيْلُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عِيَاضٍ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَة ، قَال : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ حَجَّ هَذَا الْبَيْتَ فَلَمْ يَرْفُثْ ، وَلَمْ يَفْسُقْ ، رَجَعَ كَمَا وَلَدَتْهُ أُمُّهُ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` "The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever performs pilgrimage to this House, and does not Yarfuth (utter any obscenity or commit sin), will go back as (on the day) his nother bore him.'''(sahih)
Hadith 2982
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَمَّارٍ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّمَا سَعَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ لِيُرِيَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ قُوَّتَهُ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn Abbas said:` "The Prophet walked rapidly betwwne As-Safa and Al-Marwah to show the idolaters that he was strong."
Hadith 3035
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، يَقُولُ : " أَنَا مِمَّنْ قَدَّمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْلَةَ الْمُزْدَلِفَةِ فِي ضَعَفَةِ أَهْلِهِ " .
´It was narrated that Ubaidullah bin Abu Yazeed said:` I heard Ibn Abbas say: I was one of those whom the Prophet sent ahead amongh the weak ones of his family.
Hadith 3070
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى , عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْبَدَّاحِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَخَّصَ لِلرُّعَاةِ أَنْ يَرْمُوا يَوْمًا ، وَيَدَعُوا يَوْمًا " .
´It was narrated from Abu al-Baddah bin'Adiyy, from father, that:` the Prophet granted the camel herders a concession allowing them to stone the Jamrat on one day an not another.
Hadith 3118
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ، قَالَ : لَحِقَنِي عَبَايَةُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ وَأَنَا مَاشٍ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ ، فَقَالَ : أَبْشِرْ فَإِنَّ خُطَاكَ هَذِهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ، سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْسٍ يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنِ اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَرَامٌ عَلَى النَّارِ " .
´Yazid bin Abi Mariam said:` "Abayah bin Rafi' met me when I was walking to Friday prayers, and he said: 'Rejoice, for these steps you are taking are in the cause of Allah. I heard Abu 'Abs say: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Anyone whose feet become dusty in the cause of Allah, he will be forbidden to the Fire.'"
Hadith 3191
أَخْبَرَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، وَمَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ وَاللَّفْظُ لِحُسَيْنٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " حُرْمَةُ نِسَاءِ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ عَلَى الْقَاعِدِينَ كَحُرْمَةِ أُمَّهَاتِهِمْ ، وَمَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ يَخْلُفُ فِي امْرَأَةِ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ فَيَخُونُهُ فِيهَا ، إِلَّا وُقِفَ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ، فَأَخَذَ مِنْ عَمَلِهِ مَا شَاءَ فَمَا ظَنُّكُمْ " .
´It was narrated from Sulaiman bin Buraidah that his father said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'The sanctity of the wives of the Mujahidin to those who stay behind is like the sanctity of their mothers. There is no man who takes on the responsibility of looking after the wife of one of the Mujahidin and betrays him with her but he (the betrayer) will be made to stand before him on the Day of Resurrection and he will take whatever he wants of his (good) deeds. So what do you think?'"
Hadith 3223
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : خَطَبَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، وَعُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا فَاطِمَةَ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّهَا صَغِيرَةٌ ، فَخَطَبَهَا عَلِيٌّ ، فَزَوَّجَهَا مِنْهُ " .
´Narrated 'Abdullah bin Buraidah:` It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Buraidah that his father said: "Abu Bakr and 'Umar, may Allah be pleased with them, proposed marriage to Fatimah but the Messenger of Allah said: 'She is young.' Then 'Ali proposed marriage to her and he married her to him."
Hadith 3446
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ عَنِ الَّتِي اسْتَعَاذَتْ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ : " أَنَّ الْكِلَابِيَّةَ لَمَّا دَخَلَتْ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَتْ : أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْكَ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَقَدْ عُذْتِ بِعَظِيمٍ الْحَقِي بِأَهْلِكِ " .
´It was narrated from 'Aishah that when the Kilabi woman entered upon the Prophet she said:` "I seek refuge with Allah from you." The Messenger of Allah said: "You have sought refuge with One Who is Great. Go back to your family."
Hadith 3487
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ أَبَانَ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ ظَاهَرَ مِنِ امْرَأَتِهِ ، فَوَقَعَ عَلَيْهَا ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنِّي ظَاهَرْتُ مِنَ امْرَأَتِي ، فَوَقَعْتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ أُكَفِّرَ ، قَالَ : " وَمَا حَمَلَكَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ ؟ " قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ خَلْخَالَهَا فِي ضَوْءِ الْقَمَرِ ، فَقَالَ : " لَا تَقْرَبْهَا حَتَّى تَفْعَلَ مَا أَمَرَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that a man came to the Prophet who had declared Zihar from his wife, then he had intercourse with her. He said:` "O Messenger of Allah, I declared Zihar on my wife, then I had intercourse with her before I offered the expiation." He said: "What made you do that, may Allah have mercy on you?" He said: "I saw her anklets in the light of the moon." He said: "Do not approach her until you have done that which Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, has commanded."
Hadith 3494
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ أَبِي حَفْصَةَ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ امْرَأَتِي لَا تَمْنَعُ يَدَ لَامِسٍ ، فَقَالَ :غَرِّبْهَا إِنْ شِئْتَ ، قَالَ : إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ تَتَّبِعَهَا نَفْسِي ، قَالَ : اسْتَمْتِعْ بِهَا " .
´It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said:` "A man came to the Messenger of Allah and said: 'My wife does not object if anyone touches her.' He said: 'Divorce her if you wish.' He said: 'I am afraid that I will miss her.' He said: 'Then stay with her as much as you need to.'"
Hadith 3695
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَمَّارٍ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، عَنْ وَكِيعٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيُّ الصَّدَقَةِ أَفْضَلُ ؟ قَالَ : " سَقْيُ الْمَاءِ " .
´It was narrated that Sa'd bin 'Ubadah said:` "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what kind of charity is best?' He said: 'Providing drinking water.'"
Hadith 3803
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ قَالَ إِنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِنَ الْإِسْلَامِ فَإِنْ كَانَ كَاذِبًا فَهُوَ كَمَا قَالَ ، وَإِنْ كَانَ صَادِقًا لَمْ يَعُدْ إِلَى الْإِسْلَامِ سَالِمًا " .
´It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Buraidah that his father said:` "The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever says: I have nothing to do with Islam, if he is lying then he is as he said, and if he is telling the truth, his Islam will not be sound.'"
Hadith 4169
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ : أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْهِجْرَةِ ؟ ، فَقَالَ : " وَيْحَكَ , إِنَّ شَأْنَ الْهِجْرَةِ شَدِيدٌ ، فَهَلْ لَكَ مِنْ إِبِلٍ ؟ " ، قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : " فَهَلْ تُؤَدِّي صَدَقَتَهَا ؟ " . قَالَ : نَعَمْ . قَالَ : " فَاعْمَلْ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْبِحَارِ ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَنْ يَتِرَكَ مِنْ عَمَلِكَ شَيْئًا " .
´It was narrated from Abu Sa'eed that:` a Bedouin asked the Messenger of Allah about emigration (Hijrah). He said: "Woe to you, emigration is very important. Do you have any camels?" He said: "Yes. He said: "Do you pay Sadaqah on them?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Do righteous deeds no matter how far away you are from the Muslims, for Allah, the Mighty and sublime, will never cause any of your deeds tobe lost."
Hadith 4218
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ ، عَنْ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " عَقَّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ , وَالْحُسَيْنِ " .
´It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Buraidah, from his father, that:` the Messenger of Allah offered the 'Aqiqah for Al-Hasan and Al-Husain.
Hadith 4334
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ وَهُوَ ابْنُ وَاقِدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، وَعَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ , عَنْ جَابِرٍ . وعَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ , عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : " أَطْعَمَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ لُحُومَ الْخَيْلِ ، وَنَهَانَا عَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ " .
´It was narrated that Jabir said:` " On the Day of Khaibar, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) allowed us to eat the flesh of horses but he forbade us from the flesh of donkeys."
Hadith 4417
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ أَبُو عَمَّارٍ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ ، عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَتَبَ الْإِحْسَانَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ ، فَإِذَا قَتَلْتُمْ فَأَحْسِنُوا الْقِتْلَةَ ، وَإِذَا ذَبَحْتُمْ فَأَحْسِنُوا الذَّبْحَ ، وَلْيُحِدَّ أَحَدُكُمْ شَفْرَتَهُ ، وَلْيُرِحْ ذَبِيحَتَهُ " .
´It was narrated that Shaddad bin Aws said:` "The Messenger of Allah said: 'Allah has decreed proficiency in all things, so when you kill, kill well, and when you slaughter, slaughter well. Let one of you sharpen his blade and spare suffering to the animal he slaughters.'"
Hadith 4516
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ , عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ , عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ , عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ , قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ بَيْعَتَيْنِ عَنِ الْمُلَامَسَةِ , وَالْمُنَابَذَةِ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri said:` "The messenger of Allah forbade two kinds of transactions: Mulamash and Mumabadha."
Hadith 4664
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى السِّينَانِيُّ , عَنْ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ , عَنْ أَيُّوبَ السَّخْتِيَانِيِّ , عَنْ عَطَاءٍ , عَنْ جَابِرٍ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الْمَاءِ " .
´It was narrated from Jabir that:` the Messenger of Allah forbade selling water.
Hadith 4752
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ الْأَشْعَثِ بْنِ ثُرْمُلَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسًا مُعَاهِدَةً بِغَيْرِ حِلِّهَا حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ أَنْ يَشُمَّ رِيحَهَا " .
´It was narrated that Abu Bakrah said:` The Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever kills a Mu'ahad with no justification, Allah will forbid Paradise to him and he will not even smell its fragrance."
Hadith 4792
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ ، عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي حِصْنٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ . ح وَأَنْبَأَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي حِصْنٌ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " وَعَلَى الْمُقْتَتِلِينَ أَنْ يَنْحَجِزُوا الْأَوَّلَ ، فَالْأَوَّلَ وَإِنْ كَانَتِ امْرَأَةٌ " .
´It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Messenger of Allah said:` "And it is upon those (relatives) of the killed one to block (any punishment) the first (in line) then the first, even if that one is a woman."
Hadith 5017
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ . ح وَأَنْبَأَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ حَتَّى أَكُونَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ مَالِهِ وَأَهْلِهِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ " .
´It was narrated that Anas said:` "The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'None of you has believed until I am dearer to him than his family, his wealth and all the people.'"
Hadith 5074
أَخْبَرَنِي الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ الْيَهُودَ , وَالنَّصَارَى لَا تَصْبُغُ فَخَالِفُوا عَلَيْهِمْ فَاصْبُغُوا " .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` "The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'The Jews and the Christians do not dye their hair, so be different from them and dye your hair.'"
Hadith 5298
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : " رَأَيْتُ عَلَى زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَمِيصَ حَرِيرٍ سِيَرَاءَ " .
´It was narrated that Anas said:` "I saw Zainab, the daughter of the Prophet [SAW], wearing a Qamis of Sira'."
