Hadith 263
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ تَمِيمٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ السَّرِيِّ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا لَعَنَ آخِرُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ أَوَّلَهَا فَمَنْ كَتَمَ حَدِيثًا فَقَدْ كَتَمَ مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ " .
´It was narrated that Jabir said:` "The Messenger of Allah said: 'When the last people of this Ummah curse the first, (at that time) whoever conceals a Hadith will be concealing what Allah has revealed.'" (Maudu')
Hadith 353
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ العسقلاني ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " مَرَّ رَجُلٌ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَبُولُ ، فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ فَلَمْ يَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said:` "A man passed by the Prophet while he was urinating and greeted him with the Salam, and he did not return the greeting."
Hadith 2191
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا بَاعَ الْمُجِيزَانِ فَهُوَ لِلْأَوَّلِ " .
´It was narrated from Samurah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), said:` "If two (separate) authorized persons make a sale (of the same thing), then the first transaction is the one that is valid. "
Hadith 2691
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُمَيْرٍ عِيسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ النَّحَّاسِ ، وَعِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ العسقلاني ، قَالُوا : حَدَّثَنَا ضَمْرَةُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شَوْذَبٍ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : أَتَى رَجُلٌ بِقَاتِلِ وَلِيِّهِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اعْفُ " فَأَبَى ، فَقَالَ : " خُذْ أَرْشَكَ " ، فَأَبَى ، قَالَ : " اذْهَبْ فَاقْتُلْهُ فَإِنَّكَ مِثْلُهُ " قَالَ : فَلُحِقَ بِهِ ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ قَالَ : " اقْتُلْهُ فَإِنَّكَ مِثْلُهُ " ، فَخَلَّى سَبِيلَهُ قَالَ : فَرُئِيَ يَجُرُّ نِسْعَتَهُ ذَاهِبًا إِلَى أَهْلِهِ ، قَالَ : كَأَنَّهُ قَدْ كَانَ أَوْثَقَهُ ، قَالَ أَبُو عُمَيْرٍ فِي حَدِيثِهِ : قَالَ ابْنُ شَوْذَبٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، فَلَيْسَ لِأَحَدٍ بَعْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَقُولُ : " اقْتُلْهُ فَإِنَّكَ مِثْلُهُ " ، قَالَ ابْن مَاجَةَ : هَذَا حَدِيثُ الرَّمْلِيِّينَ لَيْسَ إِلَّا عِنْدَهُمْ .
Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a man brought the killer of his guardian to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Forgive him." He refused, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Take the blood money." He refused, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go, kill him, and you will be like him." 1 So, it was said to him that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has said: "Go, kill him, and you will be like him." So he let him go. The killer was seen dragging his strap towards his family, as if the heir of the slain had tied him up. 1 Abu Umair, in his narration, says: Ibn Shawdhab narrated from Abdur Rahman bin Qasim this statement: After the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), it is not permissible for anyone to say «اقتله فإنك مثله». Ibn Majah says: This is the narration of the people of Ramla; no one else has narrated it besides them.
Hadith 3385
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ , حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ أَوْسٍ الْعَبْسِيُّ , عَنْ بِلَالِ بْنِ يَحْيَى الْعَبْسِيِّ , عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ حَفْصٍ , عَنْ ابْنِ مُحَيْرِيزٍ , عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ السِّمْطِ , عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَشْرَبُ نَاسٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي الْخَمْرَ بِاسْمٍ يُسَمُّونَهَا إِيَّاهُ " .
´It was narrated from ‘Ubadah bin Samit that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “People among my nation will drink wine, under some other name that they will give it.”
