Hadith 752
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، أَنَّ يَعِيشَ بْنَ قَيْسِ بْنِ طِخْفَةَ ، حَدَّثَهُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الصُّفَّةِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " انْطَلِقُوا " ، فَانْطَلَقْنَا إِلَى بَيْتِ عَائِشَةَ ، وَأَكَلْنَا وَشَرِبْنَا ، فَقَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنْ شِئْتُمْ نِمْتُمْ هَا هُنَا ، وَإِنْ شِئْتُمُ انْطَلَقْتُمْ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ " ، قَالَ : فَقُلْنَا : بَلْ نَنْطَلِقُ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ .
´Ya'ish bin Qais bin Tikhfah narrated that his father, who was one of the people of Suffah, said:` "The Messenger of Allah said to us: 'Come with me.' So we went to the house of 'Aishah, where we ate and drank. Then the Messenger of Allah said to us: 'If you want, you can sleep here, or if you want you can go out to the mosque.' We said: 'We will go out to the mosque.'"
Hadith 2273
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الصَّلْتِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَتَيْتُ لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِي عَلَى قَوْمٍ بُطُونُهُمْ كَالْبُيُوتِ فِيهَا الْحَيَّاتُ تُرَى مِنْ خَارِجِ بُطُونِهِمْ ، فَقُلْتُ : مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ يَا جِبْرَائِيلُ ؟ ، قَالَ : " هَؤُلَاءِ أَكَلَةُ الرِّبَا " .
´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` ' "'On the night in which I was taken on the Night Journey (Al-Isra'), I came to people whose stomachs were like houses, in which there were snakes that could be seen from outside their stomachs. I said: 'Who are these, O Jibra’il?’ He said: 'They are the ones who consumed usury."'
Hadith 3255
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَلَّالُ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ قَهْرَمَانُ آلِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ سَالِمَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ طَعَامَ الْوَاحِدِ يَكْفِي الِاثْنَيْنِ ، وَإِنَّ طَعَامَ الِاثْنَيْنِ يَكْفِي الثَّلَاثَةَ وَالْأَرْبَعَةَ ، وَإِنَّ طَعَامَ الْأَرْبَعَةِ يَكْفِي الْخَمْسَةَ وَالسِّتَّةَ " .
´It was narrated from ‘Umar bin Khattab that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “The food of one is sufficient for two, and the food of two is sufficient for three or four, and the food of four is sufficient for five or six.’”
Hadith 3287
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَلَّالُ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ قَهْرَمَانُ آلِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ سَالِمَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبِي ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " كُلُوا جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا ، فَإِنَّ الْبَرَكَةَ مَعَ الْجَمَاعَةِ " .
´Salim bin ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar said:` “I heard my father say: ‘I heard ‘Umar bin Khattab say: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Eat together and do not eat separately, for the blessing is in being together.’”
Hadith 3562
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى , عَنْ شَيْبَانَ , عَنْ قَتَادَةَ , عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , قَالَ : قَالَ لِي : يَا بُنَيَّ , لَوْ شَهِدْتَنَا وَنَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , إِذَا أَصَابَتْنَا السَّمَاءُ , لَحَسِبْتَ أَنَّ رِيحَنَا رِيحُ الضَّأْنِ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Burdah that his father said to him:` “O my son, if only you could have seen us when we were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), when rain fell on us; you would have thought that we smelled like sheep.”
Hadith 3733
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى , حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ , عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ , عَنْ نَافِعٍ , عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ , أَنَّ ابْنَةً لِعُمَرَ كَانَ يُقَالُ لَهَا : عَاصِيَةُ ، " فَسَمَّاهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَمِيلَةَ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn Umar that:` "a daughter of 'Umar was Asiyah(disobedient) then the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) named her 'Jamilah' (beautiful)."
Hadith 3867
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى , حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ , عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ أَبِي عَيَّاشٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ قَالَ حِينَ يُصْبِحُ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ , لَهُ الْمُلْكُ , وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ , وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ , كَانَ لَهُ عَدْلَ رَقَبَةٍ مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيل , وَحُطَّ عَنْهُ عَشْرُ خَطِيئَاتٍ , وَرُفِعَ لَهُ عَشْرُ دَرَجَاتٍ , وَكَانَ فِي حِرْزٍ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ حَتَّى يُمْسِيَ , وَإِذَا أَمْسَى فَمِثْلُ ذَلِكَ حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ " , قَالَ : فَرَأَى رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيمَا يَرَى النَّائِمُ , فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , إِنَّ أَبَا عَيَّاشٍ يَرْوِي عَنْكَ كَذَا وَكَذَا , فَقَالَ : " صَدَقَ أَبُو عَيَّاشٍ " .
´It was narrated from Abu 'Ayyash Az-Zuraqi that :` the Messenger of Allah (saas) said: "Whoever says in the morning: 'La illaha illalahu wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa 'ala kulli shay'in Qadir (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, with no partner or associate. His is the dominion and all praise is to Him, and He is Able to all things)' - he will have (a reward) equal to freeing a slave among the sons of Isma'il, ten bad deeds will be erased from (his record), he will be raised (in status) ten degrees, and he will have protection against Satan until evening comes. When evening comes, (if he says likewise) he will have the same until morning comes.'" (Sahih)He (one of the narrators) said: "A man saw the Messenger of Allah (saas) in a dream and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, Abu 'Ayyash narrated such and such from you.' He said: 'Abu 'Ayyash spoke the truth.'"
Hadith 3920
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْأَشْيَبُ , حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ , عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ , عَنْ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ , عَنْ خَرَشَةَ بْنِ الْحُرِّ , قَالَ : قَدِمْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ , فَجَلَسْتُ إِلَى أشِيَخَةٍ فِي مَسْجِدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَجَاءَ شَيْخٌ يَتَوَكَّأُ عَلَى عَصًا لَهُ , فَقَالَ الْقَوْمُ : مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَلْيَنْظُرْ إِلَى هَذَا , فَقَامَ خَلْفَ سَارِيَةٍ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ , فَقُمْتُ إِلَيْهِ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ : قَالَ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ : كَذَا وَكَذَا , قَالَ : الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ , الْجَنَّةُ لِلَّهِ يُدْخِلُهَا مَنْ يَشَاءُ , وَإِنِّي رَأَيْتُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رُؤْيَا , رَأَيْتُ كَأَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَانِي , فَقَالَ لِي : انْطَلِقْ , فَذَهَبْتُ مَعَهُ , فَسَلَكَ بِي فِي مَنَهْجٍ عَظِيمٍ , فَعُرِضَتْ عَلَيَّ طَرِيقٌ عَلَى يَسَارِي , فَأَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَسْلُكَهَا , فَقَالَ : إِنَّكَ لَسْتَ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا , ثُمَّ عُرِضَتْ عَلَيَّ طَرِيقٌ عَنْ يَمِينِي , فَسَلَكْتُهَا حَتَّى إِذَا انْتَهَيْتُ إِلَى جَبَلٍ زَلَقٍ , فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِي فَزَجَّلَ بِي , فَإِذَا أَنَا عَلَى ذُرْوَتِهِ فَلَمْ أَتَقَارَّ وَلَمْ أَتَمَاسَكْ , وَإِذَا عَمُودٌ مِنْ حَدِيدٍ فِي ذُرْوَتِهِ حَلْقَةٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ , فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِي فَزَجَّلَ بِي حَتَّى أَخَذْتُ بِالْعُرْوَةِ , فَقَالَ : اسْتَمْسَكْتَ , قُلْتُ : نَعَمْ , فَضَرَبَ الْعَمُودَ بِرِجْلِهِ فَاسْتَمْسَكْتُ بِالْعُرْوَةِ , فَقَالَ : قَصَصْتُهَا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " رَأَيْتَ خَيْرًا , أَمَّا الْمَنْهَجُ الْعَظِيمُ : فَالْمَحْشَرُ , وَأَمَّا الطَّرِيقُ الَّتِي عُرِضَتْ عَنْ يَسَارِكَ : فَطَرِيقُ أَهْلِ النَّارِ , وَلَسْتَ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا , وَأَمَّا الطَّرِيقُ الَّتِي عُرِضَتْ عَنْ يَمِينِكَ : فَطَرِيقُ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ , وَأَمَّا الْجَبَلُ الزَّلَقُ : فَمَنْزِلُ الشُّهَدَاءِ , وَأَمَّا الْعُرْوَةُ الَّتِي اسْتَمْسَكْتَ بِهَا : فَعُرْوَةُ الْإِسْلَامِ , فَاسْتَمْسِكْ بِهَا حَتَّى تَمُوتَ " , فَأَنَا أَرْجُو أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ , فَإِذَا هُوَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَلَامٍ .
´It was narrated that Kharashah bin Hurr said:` “I came to Al-Madinah and sat with some old men in the mosque of the Prophet (ﷺ). Then an old man came, leaning on his stick, and the people said: ‘Whoever would like to look at a man from among the people of Paradise, let him look at this man.’ He stood behind a pillar and prayed two Rak’ah. I got up and went to him, and said to him: ‘Some of the people said such and such.’ He said: ‘Praise is to Allah. Paradise belongs to Allah and He admits whomsoever He wills to it. At the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) I saw a dream in which a man came to me and said: “Let’s go.” So I went with him and he took me along a great road. A road was shown to me on the left and I wanted to follow it, but he said: “You are not one of its people.” Then a road was shown to me on the right, and I followed him until I reached a slippery mountain. He took me by the hand and helped me up. When I reached the top I could not stand firm. There was an iron pillar there with a golden ring at the top. He took my hand and helped me up until I reached the handhold, then he said: “Have you gotten a firm hold?” I said: “Yes.” Then he struck the pillar with his foot and I held tight to the pillar. I told this to the Prophet (ﷺ) and he said: "You have seen something good. The great road is the plain of gathering (on the Day of Resurrection). The road that you were shown on your left is the way of the people of Hell, and you are not one of its people. The road which you were shown on your right is the way of the people of Paradise. The slippery mountain is the place of the martyrs, and the handhold that you held on tight to is the handhold of Islam. Hold on tight to it until you die." I hope to be one of the people of Paradise,' and he was 'Abdullah bin Salam."
Hadith 4147
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ , حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى , أَنْبَأَنَا شَيْبَانُ , عَنْ قَتَادَةَ , عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ , قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَقُولُ مِرَارًا : " وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ , مَا أَصْبَحَ عِنْدَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَاعُ حَبٍّ وَلَا صَاعُ تَمْرٍ " , وَإِنَّ لَهُ يَوْمَئِذٍ تِسْعَ نِسْوَةٍ .
´It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said:` “I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say several times: ‘By the One in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad, the family of Muhammad does not have a Sa’ of food grains or a Sa’ of dates.’ And at that time he had nine wives.”
