Hadith 427
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ شَيْبَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً سَأَلَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، كَيْفَ أَغْتَسِلُ عِنْدَ الطُّهُورِ ؟ قَالَ : " خُذِي فِرْصَةً مُمَسَّكَةً فَتَوَضَّئِي بِهَا " . قَالَتْ : كَيْفَ أَتَوَضَّأُ بِهَا ؟ قَالَ : " تَوَضَّئِي بِهَا ، " قَالَتْ : كَيْفَ أَتَوَضَّأُ بِهَا ؟ قَالَتْ : ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَبَّحَ وَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهَا ، فَفَطِنَتْ عَائِشَةُ لِمَا يُرِيدُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَتْ : فَأَخَذْتُهَا وَجَبَذْتُهَا إِلَيَّ فَأَخْبَرْتُهَا بِمَا يُرِيدُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
´It was narrated from 'Aishah:` "A woman asked the Prophet (ﷺ): 'O Messenger of Allah, how should I perform Ghusl when I become pure?' He said: 'Take a piece of cotton wool scented with musk and clean yourself with it.' She said: 'How should I clean myself with it?' He said: 'Clean yourself with it.' She said: "How should I clean myself with it?' The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Subhan Allah!' and turned away from her." 'Aishah understood what the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) meant, and said: "So I pulled her toward me and told her what the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) meant."
Hadith 1321
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ ، قَالَ : ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ : أَنْبَأَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ وَاسِعِ بْنِ حَبَّانَ , أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ عَنْ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ فَقَالَ : " اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ كُلَّمَا وَضَعَ , اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ كُلَّمَا رَفَعَ ، ثُمَّ يَقُولُ : السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ , السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ " .
´It was narrated from Wasi' bin Habban that:` He asked 'Abdullah bin 'Umar about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He said: "Allahu Akbar" every time he went down and "Allahu Akbar" every time he came up, then he said: "As-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah) to his right and: As-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah) to his left."
Hadith 1657
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، قال : أَخْبَرَنِي عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ ، أَنَّ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " لَمْ يَمُتْ حَتَّى كَانَ يُصَلِّي كَثِيرًا مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ " .
´Abu Salamah narrated that Aishah told him:` "The Prophet (ﷺ) did not die until most of his prayers were offered sitting down."
Hadith 1692
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَفَّانَ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَادِيَةِ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ صَلَاةِ اللَّيْلِ قَالَ : " مَثْنَى مَثْنَى ، وَالْوِتْرُ رَكْعَةٌ مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that:` A man from among the people of the desert asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about prayer at night. He said:"(It is) two by two, and Witr is one rak'ah at the end of the night."
Hadith 2416
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ ، عَنِ الْحُرِّ بْنِ صَيَّاحٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَصُومُ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ ، يَوْمَ الِاثْنَيْنِ مِنْ أَوَّلِ الشَّهْرِ ، وَالْخَمِيسِ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ ، ثُمَّ الْخَمِيسِ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that:` the Messenger of Allah used to fast three days of each month: Monday at the beginning of the month, the following Thursday, then the Thursday after that.
Hadith 2552
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ : أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، أَنَّهَا جَاءَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ : يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ! لَيْسَ لِي شَيْءٌ ، إِلَّا مَا أَدْخَلَ عَلَيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ ، فَهَلْ عَلَيَّ جُنَاحٌ فِي أَنْ أَرْضَخَ مِمَّا يُدْخِلُ عَلَيَّ ؟ فَقَالَ : " ارْضَخِي مَا اسْتَطَعْتِ ، وَلَا تُوكِي فَيُوكِيَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَيْكِ " .
´It was narrated from Asma' bint Abi Bakr that she came to the Prophet and said:` "O Prophet of Allah, I do not have anything but that which Az-Zubair brings to me. Is there any sin on me if I give a small amount of that which he brings to me?" He said: Give whatever you can, and do not withhold what you have, lest Allah withhold provision from you."
Hadith 2778
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا يَزِيدُ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كُنْتُ أَفْتِلُ قَلَائِدَ هَدْيِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَيَبْعَثُ بِهَا ، ثُمَّ يَأْتِي مَا يَأْتِي الْحَلَالُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَبْلُغَ الْهَدْيُ مَحِلَّهُ " .
´It was narrated that Aishah said:` "I used to twist the garlands for the Hadi of the Messenger of Allah, then he would send them, then he would do whatever the non-Muhrim does before the Hadi reached its place (of sacrifice)."
Hadith 2781
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنِي أَفْتِلُ قَلَائِدَ الْغَنَمِ لِهَدْيِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، ثُمَّ يَمْكُثُ حَلَالًا " .
´It was narrated that Aishah said:` "I remember twisting the garlands for the sheep, the Hadi of the Messenger of Allah, then he stayed as a non-Muhrim."
Hadith 2782
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ حَسَنٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ، قَالَتْ : " أَنَا فَتَلْتُ تِلْكَ الْقَلَائِدَ مِنْ عِهْنٍ كَانَ عِنْدَنَا ، ثُمَّ أَصْبَحَ فِينَا ، فَيَأْتِي مَا يَأْتِي الْحَلَالُ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ ، وَمَا يَأْتِي الرَّجُلُ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ ".
´It was narrated from Al-Qasim that the Mother of the Believers said:` "I twisted those garlands from wool that we had, then the following morning he did what any non-Muhrim does with his wife, what any man does with his wife."
Hadith 3073
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ ، وَمَالِكُ بْنُ الْخَلِيلِ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ الْحَكَمِ ، وَمَنْصُورٌ , عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، قَالَ : رَمَى عَبْدُ اللَّهِ الْجَمْرَةَ بِسَبْعِ حَصَيَاتٍ ، جَعَلَ الْبَيْتَ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ وَعَرَفَةَ , عَنْ يَمِينِهِ , وَقَالَ : " هَا هُنَا مَقَامِ الَّذِي أُنْزِلَتْ عَلَيْهِ سُورَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ " ، قَالَ : أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ : مَا أَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا ، قَالَ : فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ مَنْصُورٌ غَيْرَ ابْنِ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ وَاللَّهُ تَعَالَى أَعْلَمُ .
´It was narrated that Abdullah bin Yazid said:` "Abdullah stoned the Jamrat with seven pebbles, with the House on his left and Arafat on his right. And he said: 'This is the place where the one to whom Surat al-Baqrah was revealed stood.'" (Sahih) Abu Abdur-Rahman (An-Nisai) said: I do not know of anyone who said: Mansur in this narration except Ibn Abi adi, and Allah most High knows best.
Hadith 3826
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ , عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ , قَالَ : زَعَمَ عَطَاءٌ , أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُبَيْدَ بْنَ عُمَيْرٍ , يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ تَزْعُمُ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَمْكُثُ عِنْدَ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ , فَيَشْرَبُ عِنْدَهَا عَسَلًا , فَتَوَاصَيْتُ أَنَا وَحَفْصَةُ أَنَّ أَيَّتُنَا دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَلْتَقُلْ : إِنِّي أَجِدُ مِنْكَ رِيحَ مَغَافِيرَ , أَكَلْتَ مَغَافِيرَ ؟ فَدَخَلَ عَلَى إِحْدَاهُمَا , فَقَالَتْ ذَلِكَ لَهُ , فَقَالَ : " لَا , بَلْ شَرِبْتُ عَسَلًا عِنْدَ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ , وَلَنْ أَعُودَ لَهُ " , فَنَزَلَتْ : يَأَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ لِمَ تُحَرِّمُ مَا أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ لَكَ إِلَى إِنْ تَتُوبَا إِلَى اللَّهِ سورة التحريم آية 1 - 4 عَائِشَةُ , وَحَفْصَةُ وَإِذْ أَسَرَّ النَّبِيُّ إِلَى بَعْضِ أَزْوَاجِهِ حَدِيثًا سورة التحريم آية 3 , لِقَوْلِهِ : " بَلْ شَرِبْتُ عَسَلًا " .
´'Ubaid bin 'Umair said:` I heard 'Aishah say: "The Prophet used to stay with Zainab bint Jahsh and drink honey at her house. Hafsah and I agreed that if the Prophet came to either of us, she would say: 'I detect the smell of Maghafir (a nasty-smelling gum) on you. Have you eaten Maghafir?' He went to one of them and she said that to him. He said: 'No, rather I drank honey at the house of Zainab bint Jahsh, but I will never do it again.' Then the following was revealed: 'O Prophet! Why do you forbid (for yourself) that which Allah has allowed to you' up to: 'If you two turn in repentance to Allah' -'Aishah and Hafsah- 'And (remember) when the Prophet disclosed a matter in confidence to one of his wives.' refers to him saying: 'No, rather I drank honey.'"
Hadith 4009
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ : أَخْبَرَنِي يَعْلَى ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : " أَنَّ نَاسًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الشِّرْكِ أَتَوْا مُحَمَّدًا ، فَقَالُوا : إِنَّ الَّذِي تَقُولُ وَتَدْعُو إِلَيْهِ لَحَسَنٌ , لَوْ تُخْبِرُنَا أَنَّ لِمَا عَمِلْنَا كَفَّارَةً ، فَنَزَلَتْ : وَالَّذِينَ لا يَدْعُونَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ سورة الفرقان آية 68 وَنَزَلَتْ قُلْ يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ سورة الزمر آية 53 " .
´It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that :` Some of the people of Shirk came to Muhammad [SAW] and said: "What you say and call people to is good, if only you could tell us that there is any expiation for what we have done." Then the Verses: "And those who invoke not any other ilah (god) along with Allah, or kill such a person as Allah has forbidden, except by right." And "Say: O 'Ibadi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)" were revealed.
Hadith 4193
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ ، عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا حِينَ نُبَايِعُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى السَّمْعِ وَالطَّاعَةِ , يَقُولُ لَنَا : " فِيمَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ " .
´Ibn 'Umar said:` "When we gave our pledge to the Messenger of Allah to hear and obey, he would say to us: 'In as much as you can".
Hadith 4199
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ ، قَالَ : قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي يَعْلَى بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : يَأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ سورة النساء آية 59 ، قَالَ : " نَزَلَتْ فِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حُذَافَةَ بْنِ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ ، بَعَثَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَرِيَّةٍ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (concerning the Verse):` "O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger (Muhammad). That he said: This was revealed concerning 'Abdullah bin Hudhaifah bin Qais bin 'Adiyy, whom the Messenger of Allah appointed in charge of an expedition"
Hadith 4922
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " تُقْطَعُ يَدُ السَّارِقِ فِي رُبْعِ دِينَارٍ , فَصَاعِدًا " .
´It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Prophet said:` "The hand of the thief is to be cut off for one-quarter of a Dinar or more."
Hadith 4926
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " تُقْطَعُ يَدُ السَّارِقِ فِي رُبْعِ دِينَارٍ فَصَاعِدًا " .
´It was narrated from 'Aishah, from the Prophet:` "The hand of the thief is to be cut off for one-quarter of a Dinar or more."
Hadith 5388
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ ، عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّهُ " قَدِمَ رَكْبٌ مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ , عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : أَمِّرِ الْقَعْقَاعَ بْنَ مَعْبَدٍ , وَقَالَ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : بَلْ أَمِّرِ الْأَقْرَعَ بْنَ حَابِسٍ , فَتَمَارَيَا حَتَّى ارْتَفَعَتْ أَصْوَاتُهُمَا , فَنَزَلَتْ فِي ذَلِكَ : يَأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لا تُقَدِّمُوا بَيْنَ يَدَيِ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ حَتَّى انْقَضَتِ الْآيَةُ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ صَبَرُوا حَتَّى تَخْرُجَ إِلَيْهِمْ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُمْ سورة الحجرات آية 1 - 5 " .
´'Abdullah bin Az-Zubair narrated that:` A group from Banu Tamim came to the Prophet [SAW]. Abu Bakr said: "Appoint Al-Qa'qa' bin Ma'bad (as commander or governor)," and 'Umar said: "No, (appoint) Al-Aqra' bin Habis." They argued until they began to raise their voices, then the words were revealed: "O you who believe! Make not (a decision) in advance before Allah and His Messenger..." until the end of the Verse: "And if they had patience till you could come out to them, it would have been better for them."
