Sunan Ibn Majah
Hadith 1509
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْبَخْتَرِيُّ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " صَلُّوا عَلَى أَطْفَالِكُمْ ، فَإِنَّهُمْ مِنْ أَفْرَاطِكُمْ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` “The Prophet (ﷺ) said: ‘Offer the (funeral) prayer for your children, for they have gone ahead of you (i.e. to prepare your place in Paradise for you).”
Hadith 1797
حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ الْبَخْتَرِيِّ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا أَعْطَيْتُمُ الزَّكَاةَ فَلَا تَنْسَوْا ثَوَابَهَا ، أَنْ تَقُولُوا : اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهَا مَغْنَمًا ، وَلَا تَجْعَلْهَا مَغْرَمًا " .
´Abu Hurairah narrated that :` the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said: “When you give Zakat, do not forget its reward, and say 'Allahummaj-'alha maghnaman wa la taj-'alha maghrama (O Allah! Make it a gain and do not make it a loss).' ” (Maudu')
