Hadith 407
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَعْلَى ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قال : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ سِتِّيرٌ ، فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ فَلْيَتَوَارَ بِشَيْءٍ " .
´It was narrated from Safwan bin Ya'la that his father said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Allah loves concealment, so when any one of you performs Ghusl let him conceal himself with something.'"
Hadith 1952
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ هُوَ ابْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنْ أَوْلَادِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ , فَقَالَ : " اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا كَانُوا عَامِلِينَ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` "The Messenger of Allah was asked about the children of the idolators and he said: 'Allah knows best what they would have done."'
Hadith 3401
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاق الصَّغَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شَاذَانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَا أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ ، لَا تُؤْذِينِي فِي عَائِشَةَ ، فَإِنَّهُ وَاللَّهِ مَا أَتَانِي الْوَحْيُ فِي لِحَافِ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْكُنَّ إِلَّا هِيَ " .
Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Umm Salamah! Do not harm me regarding Aisha, for by Allah! There is no woman among you besides her in whose blanket revelation has come to me."
Hadith 3572
أَخْبَرَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ هُوَ الدُّورِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَنَّهُ رَخَّصَ لِلْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا عِنْدَ طُهْرِهَا فِي الْقُسْطِ وَالْأَظْفَارِ " .
It was narrated from Hafsah, from Umm 'Atiyyah, from the Prophet, that he granted a concession to the woman whose husband has died, allowing her to use Qust and Azfar when purifying herself following her menses.
Hadith 3984
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ فَسَارَّهُ , فَقَالَ : " اقْتُلُوهُ " , ثُمَّ قَالَ : " أَيَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ " . قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، وَلَكِنَّمَا يَقُولُهَا تَعَوُّذًا . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا تَقْتُلُوهُ , فَإِنَّمَا أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَقُولُوا : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ، فَإِذَا قَالُوهَا , عَصَمُوا مِنِّي دِمَاءَهُمْ , وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ إِلَّا بِحَقِّهَا , وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ " .
´It was narrated that An-Nu'man bin Bashir said:` "We were with the Messenger of Allah [SAW] and a man came and whispered to him. He said: 'Kill him.' Then he said: 'Does he bear witness to La ilaha illallah (there is none worthy of worship except Allah)?' He said: 'Yes, but he is only saying it to protect himself.' The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Do not kill him, for I have been commanded to fight the people until they say La ilaha illallah, and if they say it, their blood and their wealth are safe from me, except for a right that is due, and their reckoning will be with Allah.'"
Hadith 4950
أَخْبَرَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ حَيٍّ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ , وَمُجَاهِدٍ , عَنْ أَيْمَنَ ، قَالَ : " يُقْطَعُ السَّارِقُ فِي ثَمَنِ الْمِجَنِّ ، وَكَانَ ثَمَنُ الْمِجَنِّ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دِينَارًا أَوْ عَشْرَةَ دَرَاهِمَ " .
´It was narrated that Ayman said:` "The (hand of) a thief is to be cut off for the price of a shield, and the price of a shield during the time of the Messenger of Allah was a Dinar, or ten Dirhams." (Daif)
