Hadith 677
وحَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، " قَنَتَ شَهْرًا يَلْعَنُ رِعْلًا ، وَذَكْوَانَ ، وَعُصَيَّةَ عَصَوْا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ " .
Anas bin Malik (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed Qunut for one month invoking curse upon Ri'l, Dhakwan, 'Usayya. those who disobeyed Allah and His Messenger (ﷺ) .
Hadith 677
وحَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، بِنَحْوِهِ .
A hadith like this has been transmitted by Anas from the Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) .
Hadith 1206
حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ زُهَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا وَقَصَتْ رَجُلًا رَاحِلَتُهُ وَهُوَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَأَمَرَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ ، وَأَنْ يَكْشِفُوا وَجْهَهُ ، حَسِبْتُهُ قَالَ : وَرَأْسَهُ ، فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَهُوَ يُهِلُّ " .
Ibn 'Abbas (RA) reported that there was a person in the company of Allah's Messenger (may peace' be upon him) whose camel broke his neck and he died. thereupon Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) said: Wash him, but do not apply perfume and do not cover his face, for he would be raised (on the Day of Resurrection) pronouncing Talbiya.
Hadith 1449
وحَدَّثَنِيهِ سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حدثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّاءَ بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ . ح وحدثنا عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ ، حدثنا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنا زُهَيْرٌ ، كِلَاهُمَا ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ سَوَاءً .
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Hisham with the same chain of transmitters.
Hadith 1463
حدثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حدثنا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ . ح وحدثنا عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ ، حدثنا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، حدثنا زُهَيْرٌ . ح وحدثنا مُجَاهِدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حدثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حدثنا شَرِيكٌ كُلُّهُمْ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ : أَنَّ سَوْدَةَ لَمَّا كَبِرَتْ بِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِ جَرِيرٍ ، وَزَادَ فِي حَدِيثِ شَرِيكٍ ، قَالَت : وَكَانَتْ أَوَّلَ امْرَأَةٍ تَزَوَّجَهَا بَعْدِي .
A hadith like this has been transmitted on the authority of Hisham with the same chain of narrators (and the words are): When Sauda became old (the rest of the hadith is the same) and in the narration of Sharik there is an addition (of these words: "She was the first woman whom he (Allah's Apostle) (ﷺ) married after me."
Hadith 2122
حَدَّثَنَاه أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ . ح وحدثنا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي وَعَبْدَةُ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ . ح وحدثنا عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ كُلُّهُمْ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ أَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ غَيْرَ أَنَّ وَكِيعًا وَشُعْبَةَ فِي حَدِيثِهِمَا فَتَمَرَّطَ شَعْرُهَا .
Asma', daughter of Abu Bakr, reported that a woman came to Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) and said: I have a daughter who has been newly wedded. She had an attack of smallpox and thus her hair had fallen; should I add false hair to her head? Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: Allah has cursed the woman who adds some false hair and the woman who asks for it.
Hadith 2363
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَعَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ كِلَاهُمَا ، عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، وَعَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، " أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، مَرَّ بِقَوْمٍ يُلَقِّحُونَ ، فَقَالَ : لَوْ لَمْ تَفْعَلُوا لَصَلُحَ ، قَالَ : فَخَرَجَ شِيصًا ، فَمَرَّ بِهِمْ ، فَقَالَ : مَا لِنَخْلِكُمْ ، قَالُوا : قُلْتَ كَذَا وَكَذَا ، قَالَ : أَنْتُمْ أَعْلَمُ بِأَمْرِ دُنْيَاكُمْ " .
Anas reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) happened to pass by the people who had been busy in grafting the trees. Thereupon he said: If you were not to do it, it might be good for you. (So they abandoned this practice) and there was a decline in the yield. He (the Holy Prophet) happened to pass by them (and said): What has gone wrong with your trees? They said: You said so and so. Thereupon he said: You have better knowledge (of a technical skill) in the affairs of the world.
Hadith 2779
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ لِعَمَّارٍ أَرَأَيْتُمْ صَنِيعَكُمْ هَذَا الَّذِي صَنَعْتُمْ فِي أَمْرِ عَلِيٍّ أَرَأْيًا رَأَيْتُمُوهُ أَوْ شَيْئًا عَهِدَهُ إِلَيْكُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ ، فَقَالَ : مَا عَهِدَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَيْئًا لَمْ يَعْهَدْهُ إِلَى النَّاسِ كَافَّةً ، وَلَكِنْ حُذَيْفَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " فِي أَصْحَابِي اثْنَا عَشَرَ مُنَافِقًا ، فِيهِمْ ثَمَانِيَةٌ لَا يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ حَتَّى يَلِجَ الْجَمَلُ فِي سَمِّ الْخِيَاطِ ثَمَانِيَةٌ مِنْهُمْ تَكْفِيكَهُمُ الدُّبَيْلَةُ وَأَرْبَعَةٌ " ، لَمْ أَحْفَظْ مَا قَالَ شُعْبَةُ فِيهِمْ .
Qais reported: I said to 'Ammar: What is your opinion about that which you have done in case (of your siding with Hadrat 'Ali)? Is it your personal opinion or something you got from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ? 'Ammar said: We have got nothing from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) which people at large did not get, but Hudhaifa told me that Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) had especially told him amongst his Companion, that there would be twelve hypocrites out of whom eight would not get into Paradise, until a camel would be able to pass through the needle hole. The ulcer would be itself sufficient (to kill) eight. So far as four are concerned, I do not remember what Shu'bah said about them.
Hadith 2903
حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " تَبْلُغُ الْمَسَاكِنُ إِهَابَ أَوْ يَهَابَ " ، قَالَ زُهَيْرٌ : قُلْتُ لِسُهَيْلٍ : فَكَمْ ذَلِكَ مِنْ الْمَدِينَةِ ، قَالَ : كَذَا وَكَذَا مِيلًا .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: (The Last Hour would not come) until the habitations of Madinah would extend to Ihab or Yahab. Zubair said: I said to Suhail how far these were from Madinah. He said: So and so miles.
