حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ، عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يَزَالُ الرَّجُلُ يَذْهَبُ بِنَفْسِهِ حَتَّى يُكْتَبَ فِي الْجَبَّارِينَ فَيُصِيبُهُ مَا أَصَابَهُمْ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ .
Salamah bin Al-Akwa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “A person continues to incline himself towards arrogance (pride) until his name is written among the tyrants, and thus he will be afflicted with the same punishment that befell the tyrants.” __REF_N__ Imam Tirmidhi says:

Hadith 2743
حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الأَكْوَعِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ : عَطَسَ رَجُلٌ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَأَنَا شَاهِدٌ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ " ثُمَّ عَطَسَ الثَّانِيَةَ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " هَذَا رَجُلٌ مَزْكُومٌ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
´Narrated Iyas bin Salamah:` from his father: "A man sneezed in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) while I was present, so the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Yarhamukallah (May Allah have mercy upon you).' Then he sneezed a second and third time. So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "This man is suffering from a cold.'"
Hadith 2743
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَهُ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ : " أَنْتَ مَزْكُومٌ " ، قَالَ : هَذَا أَصَحُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ .
‘Muhammad bin Bashar narrated to me, he said: Yahya bin Sa‘id narrated to me, he said: ‘Ikrimah bin ‘Ammar narrated to me, and ‘Ikrimah from Iyas bin Salamah, Iyas from his father Salamah, and Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) a similar hadith, but in this narration it is mentioned that upon the man sneezing for the third time, the Prophet said: “You have caught a cold.” © Imam Tirmidhi says:
This narration is more authentic than the hadith of Ibn Mubarak.

Hadith 2775
حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّاسٌ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَظِيمِ، حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ هُوَ الْجُرَشِيُّ الْيَمَامِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ : لَقَدْ قُدْتُ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالْحَسَنَ ، وَالْحُسَيْنَ عَلَى بَغْلَتِهِ الشَّهْبَاءِ ، حَتَّى أَدْخَلْتُهُ حُجْرَةَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَذَا قُدَّامُهُ وَهَذَا خَلْفُهُ " ، وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ .
´Narrated Iyas bin Salamah:` from his father who said: "I guided Allah's Prophet (ﷺ) and Al-Hasan and Al-Husain, on his gray mule until I brought him to the apartment of the Prophet (ﷺ), this one was in front of him, and this one behind him."
