Hadith 328
Jabir bin 'Abdullah (RA) reported: A delegation of the Thaqif said to the Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) : Our land is cold; what about our bathing then? He (the Holy Prophet) said: I pour water thrice over my head.
Hadith 826
Ibn 'Abbas reported: I heard it from so many Companions of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and one among them is 'Umar bin Khattab, and he is most dear to me among them that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prohibited observing of prayer after the dawn prayer till the sun rose and after the 'Asr till the sun set. This hadith has been narrated by Qatada with the same chain of transmitters with a minor alteration of words.
Hadith 863
وحَدَّثَنَا
إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا
هُشَيْمٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا
حُصَيْنٌ ، عَنْ
أَبِي سُفْيَانَ وَسَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ ، عَنْ
جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " بَيْنَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَائِمٌ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ ، إِذْ قَدِمَتْ عِيرٌ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ ، فَابْتَدَرَهَا أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، حَتَّى لَمْ يَبْقَ مَعَهُ إِلَّا اثْنَا عَشَرَ رَجُلًا ، فِيهِمْ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، وَعُمَرُ ، قَالَ : وَنَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ وَإِذَا رَأَوْا تِجَارَةً أَوْ لَهْوًا انْفَضُّوا إِلَيْهَا سورة الجمعة آية 11 " .
Jabir bin 'Abdullah (RA) reported: While the Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) was delivering (a sermon) on Friday, a caravan of merchandise came to Madinah. The Companions of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) rushed towards it till only twelve persons were left with him including Abu Bakr (RA) and 'Umar; and it was at this occasion that this verse was revealed." And when they see merchandise or sport, they break away to it."
Hadith 1604
Ibn Abu Najih has narrated a hadith like this with the same chain of transmitters, but he has not mentioned:" for a definite period".
Hadith 1709
وحَدَّثَنِي
إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا
هُشَيْمٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا
خَالِدٌ ، عَنْ
أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ، عَنْ
أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ ، عَنْ
عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ ، قَالَ : " أَخَذَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَمَا أَخَذَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ ، أَنْ لَا نُشْرِكَ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا ، وَلَا نَسْرِقَ وَلَا نَزْنِيَ وَلَا نَقْتُلَ أَوْلَادَنَا وَلَا يَعْضَهَ بَعْضُنَا بَعْضًا ، فَمَنْ وَفَى مِنْكُمْ ، فَأَجْرُهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَمَنْ أَتَى مِنْكُمْ حَدًّا ، فَأُقِيمَ عَلَيْهِ فَهُوَ كَفَّارَتُهُ وَمَنْ سَتَرَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ ، فَأَمْرُهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ إِنْ شَاءَ عَذَّبَهُ وَإِنْ شَاءَ غَفَرَ لَهُ " .
'Ubadah bin as-Samit reported: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) took (a pledge) from us as he took from the women that we will not associate anything with Allah and we will not steal, and we will not commit adultery, and we will not kill our children, and we will not bring calumny upon one another. And he who amongst you fulfils (this pledge), his reward rests with Allah, and he upon whom amongst you is imposed the prescribed punishment and that is carried out, that is his expiation (for that sin), and he whose (sins) were covered by Allah, his matter rests with Allah. He may punish him if He likes or may forgive him if He so likes.
Hadith 715
It has been narrated on the authority of Jabir bin 'Abdullah who said: We accompanied the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on an expedition. When we came (back) to Madinah and were going to enter our houses, he said: Wait and enter (your houses) in the later part of the evening so that a woman with dishevelled hair may have used the comb, and a woman whose husband has been away from home may have removed the hair from her private parts.
Hadith 2027
Ibn 'Abbas reported that Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) drank (water) from Zamzam while he was standing.

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Sayyar with the same chain of transmitters.
Hadith 2534
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (may, peace be upon him) as saying: The best age of my Umma is one in which I was sent (by Allah as an Apostle), then the one next to that. (The narrator said): And Allah knows best whether he stated this third (time) or not. Then there would come people who would love (to look) bulky and they would hasten to the witness box before they are asked to bear witness.
