بَابُ : مَنْزِلَةِ الْخَمْرِ
Chapter: Status of Khamr
Hadith 5660
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدٌ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : " أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِهِ بِقَدَحَيْنِ مِنْ خَمْرٍ ، وَلَبَنٍ فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِمَا ، فَأَخَذَ اللَّبَنَ , فَقَالَ لَهُ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام :الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي هَدَاكَ لِلْفِطْرَةِ ، لَوْ أَخَذْتَ الْخَمْرَ غَوَتْ أُمَّتُكَ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` "On the night on which he was taken on the Night Journey (Al-Isra'), two cups, of wine and milk, were brought to the Messenger of Allah [SAW]. He looked at them and chose the milk. Jibril, peace be upon him, said to him: 'Praise be to Allah Who has guided you to the Fitrah. If you have chosen the wine, your Ummah would have gone astray.'"
Hadith 5661
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بَكْرِ بْنَ حَفْصٍ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ مُحَيْرِيزٍ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مَنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " يَشْرَبُ نَاسٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي الْخَمْرَ يُسَمُّونَهَا بِغَيْرِ اسْمِهَا " .
´Ibn Muhairiz narrated from a man among the Companions of the Prophet [SAW] that :` The Prophet [SAW] said: "People among my Ummah will drink Khamr, calling it by another name."
