بَابُ : ذِكْرِ مَا يُكَلَّفُ أَصْحَابُ الصُّوَرِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
Chapter: What the Image-Makers Will be Commanded to Do on the Day of Resurrection
Hadith 5360
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ الْحَارِثِ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ ، عَنْ النَّضْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ , قَالَ : كُنْتُ جَالِسًا عِنْدَ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِرَاقِ , فَقَالَ : إِنِّي أُصَوِّرُ هَذِهِ التَّصَاوِيرَ , فَمَا تَقُولُ فِيهَا ؟ فَقَالَ : ادْنُهْ , ادْنُهْ , سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدًا صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " مَنْ صَوَّرَ صُورَةً فِي الدُّنْيَا كُلِّفَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَنْ يَنْفُخَ فِيهَا الرُّوحَ ، وَلَيْسَ بِنَافِخِهِ " .
´It was narrated that An-Nadr bin Anas said:` "I was sitting with Ibn 'Abbas when a man from among the people of Al-'Iraq came to him and said: 'I make these images; what do you say concerning them?' He said: 'Come closer, come closer. I heard Muhammad [SAW] say: Whoever makes an image in this world will be commanded on the Day of Resurrection to breathe a soul into it, and he will not be able to do so."
Hadith 5361
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ صَوَّرَ صُورَةً عُذِّبَ حَتَّى يَنْفُخَ فِيهَا الرُّوحَ ، وَلَيْسَ بِنَافِخٍ فِيهَا " .
´It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said:` "The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Whoever makes an image will be punished until (he is commanded) to breathe a soul into it, and he will not be able to do so.'"
Hadith 5362
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ صَوَّرَ صُورَةً كُلِّفَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَنْ يَنْفُخَ فِيهَا الرُّوحَ ، وَلَيْسَ بِنَافِخٍ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` "The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Whoever makes an image will be commanded on the Day of Resurrection to breathe the soul into it but he will not be able to do so.'"
Hadith 5363
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّ أَصْحَابَ هَذِهِ الصُّوَرِ الَّذِينَ يَصْنَعُونَهَا يُعَذَّبُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ، يُقَالُ لَهُمْ : أَحْيُوا مَا خَلَقْتُمْ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that:` The Prophet [SAW] said: "The makers of these images will be punished on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be said to them: 'Breathe life into that which you have created.'"
Hadith 5364
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّ أَصْحَابَ هَذِهِ الصُّوَرِ يُعَذَّبُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ، وَيُقَالُ لَهُمْ : أَحْيُوا مَا خَلَقْتُمْ " .
´It was narrated from 'Aishah, the wife of the Prophet [SAW], that:` The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: "The makers of these images will be punished on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be said to them: 'Bring to life that which you have created.'"
Hadith 5365
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : " إِنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَذَابًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الَّذِينَ يُضَاهُونَ اللَّهَ فِي خَلْقِهِ " .
´It was narrated that 'Aishah, the wife of the Prophet [SAW], said:` "The people who will be most severely punished on the Day of Resurrection will be those who try to match the creation of Allah."
