Hadith 4639
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ , عَنْ نَافِعٍ , عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ , أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " أَيُّمَا امْرِئٍ أَبَّرَ نَخْلًا , ثُمَّ بَاعَ أَصْلَهَا , فَلِلَّذِي أَبَّرَ ثَمَرُ النَّخْلِ , إِلَّا أَنْ يَشْتَرِطَ الْمُبْتَاعُ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet said:` "Any man who pollinates a date-palm tree then sells it, the fruits of the tree are for the one who pollinated it, unless the purchaser stipulated otherwise."
