Muswar bin Makhramah and Marwan bin Hakam both say that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) set out (for Umrah) in the year of the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah with more than a thousand companions, until when he reached Dhul-Hulaifah, he garlanded the sacrificial animal, marked it, and donned the Ihram for Umrah.
