Chapter: When There Is An Infraction In The Sadaqah (Collected)
Hadith 2462
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ جَرِيرٌ : أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَاسٌ مِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ فَقَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ! يَأْتِينَا نَاسٌ مِنْ مُصَدِّقِيكَ يَظْلِمُونَ قَالَ : " أَرْضُوا مُصَدِّقِيكُمْ " , قَالُوا : وَإِنْ ظَلَمَ , قَالَ : " أَرْضُوا مُصَدِّقِيكُمْ " ، ثُمَّ قَالُوا : وَإِنْ ظَلَمَ , قَالَ : " أَرْضُوا مُصَدِّقِيكُمْ " , قَالَ جَرِيرٌ : فَمَا صَدَرَ عَنِّي مُصَدِّقٌ مُنْذُ سَمِعْتُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا وَهُوَ رَاضٍ .
´It was narrated that 'Abdur-Rahman bin Hilal said:` "Jarir said: 'Some Bedouin people came to the Prephet and said: O Messenger of Allah, some of your Zakah collectors come to us and they are unfair. He said: Keep your Zakah collectors happy. They said: Even if they are unfair? He said: Keep your Zakah collectors happy. Then they said: Even if they are unfair. He said: Keep your Zakah collectors happy. Jarir said: No Zakah collector left me, since I heard this from the Messenger of Allah but he was pleased with me."[1]
Hadith 2463
أَخْبَرَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ هُوَ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا دَاوُدُ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ جَرِيرٌ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا أَتَاكُمُ الْمُصَّدِّقُ فَلْيَصْدُرْ وَهُوَ عَنْكُمْ رَاضٍ " .
´It was narrated that Ash-Shabbi said:` "Jarir said: 'The Messenger of Allah said: When the Zakah collector comes to you, let him leave happy with you."'
