Hadith 713
أَخْبَرَنَا
قُتَيْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا
اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ
سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ
أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَقُولُ : " بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَيْلًا قِبَلَ نَجْدٍ فَجَاءَتْ بِرَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي حَنِيفَةَ يُقَالُ لَهُ : ثُمَامَةُ بْنُ أُثَالٍ سَيِّدُ أَهْلِ الْيَمَامَةِ ، فَرُبِطَ بِسَارِيَةٍ مِنْ سَوَارِي الْمَسْجِدِ " مُخْتَصَرٌ .
´It was narrated from Sa'eed bin Abi Sa'eed that he heard Abu Hurairah say:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sent some horsemen toward Najd, and they brought back a man from Banu Hanifah who was called Thumamah bin Uthal, the chief of the people of Al-Yamamah. Then he was tied to one of the pillars of the Masjid."
