أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قال : حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ ، قال ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ : أَخْبَرَنِي زِيَادٌ ، أَنَّ قَزَعَةَ مَوْلًى لِعَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عِكْرِمَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ : " صَلَّيْتُ إِلَى جَنْبِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَائِشَةُ خَلْفَنَا تُصَلِّي مَعَنَا وَأَنَا إِلَى جَنْبِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُصَلِّي مَعَهُ " .
´Ibn 'Abbas said:` "I prayed beside the Prophet (ﷺ) and Aisha was behind us praying with us, and I was beside the Prophet (ﷺ) praying with him."

842. Commentary: When, apart from the imam, there is one child and one woman, the child will stand to the right of the imam and the woman will stand alone behind them, even if she is the imam’s wife or a female mahram. According to the Shari‘ah, this is the prescribed method for congregational prayer in such a situation. This is the objective of this chapter.
