Hadith 5748

أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ , قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ , عَنْ سُفْيَانَ , عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ , عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ , أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " فِي النَّبِيذِ خَمْرُهُ دُرْدِيُّهُ " .
´It was narrated that Sa'eed bin Al-Musayyab said concerning Nabidh:` "The dregs are what intoxicates."

“It becomes wine,” meaning that intoxication develops in it and its ruling becomes like that of wine, i.e., drinking it becomes prohibited, because according to the Shari‘ah, the ruling for an intoxicating beverage and for wine is the same.
