Hadith 5642

´It was narrated that 'Aishah, may Allah be pleased with her, said:` "He forbade Ad-Dubba' (gourds) specifically."

Hadith Takhrij «
Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Muhammad Ameen
“‘Personally’ (ذاتی طور پر) means specifically, that in this there is a greater possibility of intoxication. Or it could also mean that the prohibition of preparing nabidh in a gourd vessel is not due to the possibility of intoxication, but rather because it is a gourd vessel, i.e., it is prohibited in all circumstances. However, this meaning is less preferred in light of other ahadith. And Allah knows best.”
