Hadith 5594

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ , وَقُتَيْبَةُ , عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " كُلُّ شَرَابٍ أَسْكَرَ فَهُوَ حَرَامٌ " ، قَالَ قُتَيْبَةُ : عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم .
´It was narrated that 'Aishah said:` "The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Every drink that intoxicates is unlawful.'" Qutaibah (one of the narrators) said: "From the Prophet [SAW]."

Imam al-Nasa'i rahimahullah narrated this hadith from two teachers: Ishaq ibn Ibrahim and Qutaybah. Teacher Ishaq ibn Ibrahim, while narrating the hadith, said: "From Aisha, she said: The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said..." Whereas the wording of teacher Qutaybah is: "From Aisha sallallahu alayhi wa sallam." Subhan Allah! How extremely cautious the noble hadith scholars rahimahumullah were in transmitting narrations.
