´It was narrated that Khabbab bin Al-Aratt said:` "We complained to the Messenger of Allah [SAW] when he was reclining on his rolled-up Burdah in the shade of the Ka'bah. We said: 'Will you not pray for victory for us, will you not pray to Allah for us?'"

(1) The relevance of the hadith to the chapter heading is established in this way: such a striped cloak was used as a pillow. From this, it is understood that a cloak which can be used as a pillow may also be worn.
(2) This blessed hadith clearly indicates that in inviting to Allah and propagating the religion, immense difficulties and trials may arise. Therefore, when faced with such circumstances, one must never let go of patience under any condition. Glad tidings of honor, help, and divine love are given to those who remain patient over the hardships destined in the path of Allah.
(3) The narration is lengthy. The author (rahimahullah) has mentioned the relevant portion.
(4) “Black striped cloak” is the translation of the Arabic word *burdah*. These were the types of cloaks.
