´'Abdullah bin Az-Zubair said, while he was on the Minbar delivering a Khutbah:` "Muhammad [SAW] said: 'Whoever wears silk in this world, will not wear it in the Hereafter.'"
Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Muhammad Ameen
“He will never be able to wear it”—even if he enters Paradise. That is, he will remain deprived of this blessing in Paradise. Or, it may mean that he will not enter Paradise at all, because in Paradise, the clothing will be of silk. Then, the initial entry is intended; that is, for a period before entering Paradise, he will be deprived of silk. And Allah knows best.
