´It was narrated that Jabir said:` "Abu Quhafah was brought to the Messenger of Allah [SAW] and his head and beard were white like the Thaghamah. The Prophet [SAW] said: 'Change this, or dye it.'"

Thaghama is a type of grass that grows on the peak of a mountain, whose fruit and flowers are completely white, and when it dries, its whiteness increases even more. For details, see Hadith: 5079.
