´It was narrated that Ka'b said:` "Whoever performs wudu and performs wudu, well, then prays ('Abdur-Rahman said: and prays Isha), then prays after that four Rakahs and does them well (Sawwar said: and understands what he is reciting (Sawwar said: and recites therein), they will be equivalent to (praying) Lailat Al-Qadr for him". Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Muhammad Ameen
Imam Nasa’i rahimahullah’s intent is absolutely clear: that the teacher of ‘Ata’ is the Tabi’i (Successor) Aymaan, who narrates from the senior Tabi’in, just as in this narration he is narrating from the Tabi’i Tabi’ (Successor of the Successors). If he were a Companion (Sahabi), he would have narrated from a Companion or from the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. As for the Companion of the Messenger of Allah, Aymaan ibn Umm Ayman, ‘Ata’ never met him. The next hadith is also mentioned to support this very point.
