بَابُ : امْتِحَانِ السَّارِقِ بِالضَّرْبِ وَالْحَبْسِChapter: Making A Suspected thief Admit to His Crime By Beating and Detaining Him.
Hadith 4879

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلَّامٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ , عَنْ بَهْزِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " حَبَسَ نَاسًا فِي تُهْمَةٍ " .
´It was narrated from Bahz bin Hakim, from his father, from his grandfather, that:` the Messenger of Allah detained some people who were under suspicion
