Hadith 4848

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ ، عَنْ غَالِبٍ التَّمَّارِ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ : أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " الْأَصَابِعُ سَوَاءٌ عَشْرًا " .
´It was narrated from Abu Musa Al-Asha'ari that the Prophet of Allah said:` "Fingers are the same, (the Diyah is) ten (camel).

Benefits and Issues:
Whether the fingers are of the hand or the foot, whether it is the thumb, the little finger, etc., all are equal; for each one, the compensation (diyah) is ten camels.

➊ If someone cuts off one finger of another person, the penalty (diyah) for it is ten camels.

➋ In the case of more than one finger being cut off, the penalty for each finger will be ten camels.
