Hadith Takhrij «تفرد بہ النسائي (تحفة الأشراف: 9969) (صحیح)»
Brief Explanation
1؎: Firstly, the narrator "Mu'adh bin Abdullah" himself, despite being trustworthy (saduq), used to fall into error in narration, so it is possible that it was «جذعۃ من المعز» or only «جذعۃ», and due to error he narrated it as «جذعۃ من الضان». Secondly, it is possible that this was in a case of necessity. In any case, some scholars, based on this hadith and the following two hadiths, consider the sacrifice of a "one-year-old ram" permissible even without necessity, and interpret the hadith with «مسنہ» as being preferable (mustahabb).
