´It was narrated that 'Urwah bin Az-Zubair said:` "Some people from 'Uraynah raided the milk camels of the Messenger of Allah [SAW] and drove them off, and killed a slave of his. Hadith Takhrij«انظر حدیث رقم: 4043 (صحیح) (یہ روایت بھی مرسل ہے، اس لیے کہ عروہ نے صحابی کا ذکر نہیں کیا، لیکن دوسرے طرق سے تقویت پاکر یہ صحیح ہے)»
Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar: Some people raided the camels of the Prophet ﷺ, drove them off, and apostatised. They killed the herdsman of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who was a believer. He (the Prophet) sent (people) in pursuit of them and they were caught. He had their hands and feet cut off, and their eyes put out. The verse regarding fighting against Allah and His Prophet ﷺ was then revealed. These were the people about whom Anas ibn Malik informed al-Hajjaj when he asked him.

Benefits and Issues: Hajjaj bin Yusuf was a well-known tyrant ruler in the history of Islam. He was narrated this aforementioned incident by Hazrat Anas radi Allahu anhu. Upon this, Hazrat Hasan radi Allahu anhu said: "I wish he had not narrated this to him, because it was from this that he (Hajjaj) derived an incorrect argument for himself." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Chapter: The Medicine with the Milk of Camels, Hadith: 5685)
