Hadith 4011

´It was narrated that Zaid bin Thabit said:` "This Verse - 'And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell' - was revealed six months after the Verse which was revealed in Surat Al-Furqan."

Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Muhammad Ameen
This interruption is not detrimental to the authenticity of the hadith because the intermediary in between is well-known, and he is Musa ibn Uqbah, as will be mentioned in the forthcoming hadith. So it is possible that initially, he narrated from Abu al-Zinad through Musa, and later he himself heard directly from Abu al-Zinad without an intermediary. Therefore, sometimes he narrates with the intermediary and sometimes without it. Such occurrences are common in the narrations of the hadith scholars, thus the authenticity of the hadith is not affected by this. The hadith is authentic and actionable. And Allah knows best.
