Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Muhammad Ameen
385. Commentary: Our esteemed researcher has declared this narration, which has previously appeared in the Book of Purification, under the chapter "Spreading a thick cloth in the mosque," as weak in its chain of transmission, whereas here he has declared it authentic. This indicates that the Shaykh was mistaken there, because according to other scholars as well, this narration is authentic. For further details, see the benefits and issues of Hadith: 274.
