´It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said:` "The Messenger of Allah raced with a Bedouin and (the latter) won. It was as if the Companions of the Messenger of Allah were upset by this, so he said: 'It is a right upon Allah that there is nothing that raises itself in this world except that He lowers it.'"
Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Muhammad Ameen
(1) This hadith has no connection with the state of major ritual impurity (janabah); however, it is related to the original subject, which is that camel races can be held. The details of this hadith have already been discussed under hadith: 3618.
(2) "Will raise itself" means it will consider itself superior. Evidently, this sense is also present in animals. That is why they make every possible effort to get ahead in competition. In this way, they also elevate themselves, therefore, there is no objection.
