أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الطُّوسِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سَيَّارٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " حُبِّبَ إِلَيَّ النِّسَاءُ , وَالطِّيبُ , وَجُعِلَتْ قُرَّةُ عَيْنِي فِي الصَّلَاةِ " .
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Women and perfume have been made beloved to me, and the coolness of my eyes has been placed in prayer."

The coolness of the eyes is an idiom, by which is meant true and heartfelt delight and happiness.
