´Narrated Anas:` It was narrated from Anas that they said: "O Messenger of Allah, why don't you marry a woman from the Ansar?" He said: "They are very jealous."

Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Muhammad Ameen
The Ansar were people of gentle temperament, and thus their women were dominant over them. They were afraid of their women, and in this way, a certain boldness developed in the temperament of the women of the Ansar. The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) already had wives. A woman of sharp temperament does not get along with her co-wives and husband; rather, she becomes a constant source of trouble. Perhaps for this reason, the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) did not marry among the Ansar.
