Hadith 3162

´It was narrated that Anas said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'A man from among the people of Paradise will be brought and Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, will say: "O son of Adam, how do you find your place (in Paradise)?" He would say: "O Lord, it is the best place." He will say: "Ask and wish (for whatever you want)." He would say: "I ask You to send me back to the world so that I may be killed in Your cause ten time" - because of what be sees of the virtue of martyrdom.'"

Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Muhammad Ameen
"‘A person’—that is, a martyr (shaheed), as is evident from the subsequent words and as is also mentioned in the preceding hadith. In this case, this narration will be in agreement with the first hadith. Or it could refer to any general inhabitant of Paradise who had witnessed the virtue of a martyr with his own eyes. In this case, this narration would be in contradiction to the first hadith. Thus, a way to reconcile between them could be that perhaps the matter of the martyr pertains to the Barzakh (the intermediate state after death and before resurrection), and the matter of this person pertains to after entering Paradise. And Allah knows best."
