Hadith 3021

´It was narrated from Ibn Abbas that Usmah bin Zaid said:` "The Messneger of Allah departed from Arafat and I was riding behind him. He started trying to rein in his camel until its ears nearly touched the front of the saddle, and he was saying: 'O people, you must be tranquil and dignified, for righteousness does not come by making camels hurry.'"

Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Muhammad Ameen
You had pulled the reins of the mount so that the animal would not move quickly and people would not be inconvenienced. Driving an animal fast in a gathering is contrary to seriousness and dignity; however, if it is an open space and there is no obstruction, then the mount may be driven quickly.
