Hadith 2929

´It was narrated from HIsham bin Urwah, from his father, from Umm Salamah, that she said:` "O Messenger of Allah, by Allah! I have not performed the Farewell Tawaf." The Prophet said: "When the Iqamah is said for prayer, perform Tawaf on your camel behind the people." Urwah did not hear from Umm Salamah.

Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Muhammad Ameen
Men and women perform tawaf together, but women remain somewhat at a distance. They should not get mixed among the men. If there is a crowd, they should also stay away from the Black Stone (Hajar al-Aswad) and the Yemeni Corner (Rukn Yamani). However, during the days of Hajj and Ramadan, it is not possible for women to perform tawaf completely separate from men because of the extreme crowding; therefore, this is a necessity. There is no harm in performing tawaf together, but as much as possible, they should remain at a distance.
