Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Muhammad Ameen
Perhaps this will be the time when there will remain no one on earth who remembers Allah, and all people will be disbelievers and sinners. For the Hour will be established upon such people. The destruction of the Ka‘bah (may Allah protect us from such a thing) will be the alarm for the destruction of this world. There is an indication of this in the Noble Qur’an: “Allah has made the Ka‘bah, the Sacred House, a means of standing (stability) for mankind, and (also) the sacred month and the sacrificial animals and the garlands...” ( al-Ma’idah: 97). Thus, the sanctity of the House of Allah (Baytullah), its visitation, and the Hajj are means for the continued existence of the world.
