´It was narrated that 'Aishah said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and I would sleep under a single blanket when I was menstruating. If anything got on him from me, he would wash that spot and no more, and pray in it, then come back. If anything got on it again from me, he would do likewise and no more, and he would pray in it."
Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Muhammad Ameen
285. Commentary:
➊ It is sufficient to wash only the area of the garment where impurity has touched; there is no need to wash the entire garment, and prayer can be performed in such a garment without hesitation.
➋ The fact that he lay down again indicates that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam used to get up for the Tahajjud prayer and, after a pause, would lie down again. «والله أعلم»

774. Commentary: If the garment that a woman wears on her body is pure, then there is no harm in performing prayer in it, even if she wore it during her menstrual period (hayd). If some blood has gotten onto it, then only that specific spot should be washed; there is no need to wash the rest of the garment.

269. Commentary:
➊ These hidden realities have been stated only to clarify the boundaries of religion, Shariah, and purification (taharah), so that there may be ease for the Ummah in this world and the Hereafter. Otherwise, it is not permissible for ordinary Muslim husbands and wives to mention their private matters.
➋ Menstrual blood is impure (najis).
➌ It is obligatory to wash only that part of the body or clothing which has become soiled, not the entire body or the whole garment.
