بَابُ : إِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ دَرَاهِمُ وَكَانَ لَهُ عِدْلُهَا
Chapter: If He Does Not Have Any Dirhams But He Has The Equivalent
Hadith 2598
أَخْبَرَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَصِينٍ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا تَحِلُّ الصَّدَقَةُ لِغَنِيٍّ وَلَا لِذِي مِرَّةٍ سَوِيٍّ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` "The Messenger of Allah said: 'It is not permissible to give charity to a rich man (or one who is independent of means) or to one who is strong and healthy."'
