Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Muhammad Ameen
The recompense and punishment on the Day of Resurrection will correspond to one's worldly actions. This person, by persistently begging, humiliated his own face to such an extent that he no longer held any value in the eyes of others, and no one was willing to look at him with respect. On the Day of Resurrection, his face will also be in such a state that he will have no honor, nor will anyone be willing to look at him. A‘adhana Allah (may Allah protect us). However, this is the punishment for the person who is a professional beggar. As for the one who begs out of compulsion and necessity, and is helpless, he will be excused.
