أَخْبَرَنَا
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا
يَحْيَى ، عَنِ
ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ
أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " ثَلَاثَةٌ لَا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ : الشَّيْخُ الزَّانِي ، وَالْعَائِلُ الْمَزْهُوُّ ، وَالْإِمَامُ الْكَذَّابُ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` "The Messenger of Allah said: "There are three to whom Allah, it Mighty and Sublime, with not speak on the Day of Resurrection: An old man who commits adultery, a poor man who is arrogant, and an Imam who tells lies."'

The king, in any case, is the supreme ruler; he has no fear or danger that would compel him to lie. Furthermore, his lie would be based on a great deception and would undermine the trust of the general public. Moreover, it is harmful to the entire populace; therefore, his lie is a very grave sin and an invitation to the wrath of Allah, the Exalted.
