´It was narrated that Muadh to Yemen:` The Messenger of Allah commanded me not to take any cattle until the number had reached thirty. If the number reached thirty, then a Jadh'ah calf in its second year, either male or female, was due on them, until the number reached forty. If the number reached forty. If the number reached forty, then a Musinnah was due on them." (Daif)

Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Muhammad Ameen
The aforementioned four hadiths narrated from Mu'adh radi Allahu anhu have been declared weak in chain of transmission (sanadan da'if) by the researcher of this book, whereas among other scholars, some have graded them as hasan and some as sahih, and they have also mentioned supporting evidences (shawahid) for them. From this, it is understood that despite the aforementioned narration being weak in its chain, it is still actionable and a valid proof. For the detailed discussion on the chains of transmission of these narrations and the details of the issue mentioned therein, see: (Dhakheerat al-‘Uqba Sharh Sunan al-Nasa’i: 22/108-117, al-Mawsu‘ah al-Hadithiyyah Musnad al-Imam Ahmad: 7/21-23, and 36/339-23, and Irwa’ al-Ghalil: 3/268-271, no. 795)
