1؎ : It is well-known that it was spread by some of the slaves of the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) without informing the noble Companions (radi Allahu anhum). Ibn Sa'd has transmitted in "Tabaqat" (2/299) the statement of Waki‘ that this is specific to the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). And there is a narration from Hasan al-Basri that the ground was wet, so a red sheet was spread which he used to wear. And from Hasan al-Basri himself there is another narration in which it is stated «قال رسول+اللہ+صلی+اللہ+علیہ+وسلم افرشوا لي قطیفتي في لحدي ، فإن الأرض لم تسلط علی أجساد الأنبیائ» .
