Hadith 1756

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ عَزْرَةَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُوتِرُ وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ .
´It was narrated from Sa'eed bin Abdur-Rahman bin Abza that:` The Prophet (ﷺ) used to recite in witr and he quoted the same hadith.

1756. Commentary: Imam Nasa’i rahimahullah mentioned this hadith six times in order to show the variation in the chains of narration, the details of which can only be known by examining the chains themselves. For example: in the last chain, there is no intermediary of a Companion (sahabi), whereas in the other chains, there is an intermediary of a Companion, and so on.
