أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ وَكَانَ ثِقَةً ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا النُّعْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ السَّلَامِ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قال : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي حَتَّى تَزْلَعَ يَعْنِي تَشَقَّقُ قَدَمَاهُ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to pray until he developed fissures in his feet."

1646. Commentary: The point of bursting after thinking, that is, it was bound to happen eventually, but there was never any sense of laziness found in the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
