´Anas bin Malik said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever sends salah upon me once, Allah (SWT) will send salah upon him tenfold, and will erase ten sins from him, and will raise him ten degrees in status."

1298. Commentary: In this hadith, there is mention of additional virtue and reward beyond what has been stated in previous ahadith, and this is the grace of Allah, the Exalted. The one who sends blessings (salat) upon the Beloved of Allah, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, is greatly beloved to Allah, the Exalted. And why should it not be so? The beloved of the Beloved is also beloved. Sending blessings (salat) is “a‘zam al-qurubat” — the greatest of good deeds — and it is the most virtuous supplication (du‘a).
