Hadith 1125

´'Aishah said:` "I noticed that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was missing from bed, so I started to look for him, and I thought that he had gone to one of his concubines. Then my hand fell on him when he was prostrating and saying: "Allahummaghfirli ma asrartu wa ma a'lant (O Allah, forgive me for what (sin) I have concealed and what I have done openly).'"

1125. Commentary: The assumption of Aisha radi Allahu anha is in accordance with a woman's natural disposition; otherwise, the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam loved Aisha radi Allahu anha the most. See: [صحیح البخاري ، فضائل أصحاب النبي صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ، حدیث : 3662 ، و صحیح مسلم ، فضائل الصحابة ، حدیث : 2384] How could he leave her? In reality, this is evidence that Aisha radi Allahu anha also had the utmost love for the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. On another similar occasion, she said, "Do you think that Allah and His Messenger would wrong you?"
