´It was narrated that Ali said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade me from wearing Al-Qassi, and clothes dyed from safflower, and from wearing gold rings, and from reciting Qura'n while bowing."

Benefits and Issues:
The meaning of the statement of Ali (radi Allahu anhu) is that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said:
O Ali! Do not wear what is dyed with kusm (safflower).
He did not say:
O people! Do not wear this color.
However, the ruling is the same for everyone.
